Great place to bring the family for dinner. The salad bar was really good and a healthier option. The Reuben sandwich is really tasty. Very clean restaurant and I love the decor. Overall very satisfied and I would visit again to dine in.

The place was very nice, my friends and I went to celebrate my friend birthday and they said they have good tenderloins here. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and helpful in surprising him. Since the restaurant didn’t have cake, I asked her to bring some ice cream for him and we wished him happy birthday !! The tenderloin was delicious and filling. My friends enjoyed their meals as well.

Harvey Hinklemeyers: where the food is… edible, the service is… present, and the ambiance is… well, it exists.

I ordered the “World-Famous Spaghetti,” which, judging by the taste, might only be famous in Harvey Hinklemeyers’ kitchen. The garlic bread was an adventure—crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and mysteriously cold on both ends. A culinary enigma, truly.

The staff was friendly enough, though my server seemed to be playing a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek every time I needed a refill. Points for dedication, I suppose?

As for the decor, it was a charming mix of “grandma’s attic” meets “college dorm thrift sale.” Bonus points for the wobbly table that added an unexpected workout to my meal.

Overall, if you’re looking for a spot to eat food that won’t offend you or wow you, Harvey Hinklemeyers is your place. Just keep your expectations grounded—like the piece of lettuce I found under my chair.

You cannot go.wrong with anything you order here it is amazing! The breadsticks are sooo delicious, the grilled cheese was so good, the bun that the breaded tenderloin is on is soft and so good, The staff is super friendly. Definitely worth stopping if you are near it.

Pizza crust is amazingly light, hand tossed, but not chewy, kinda melts in your mouth as you eat. Building layout is wide open, but for some reason that didn’t feel right. Misty was our waitress, super nice and efficient. Thanks!

I like a good fish sandwich and most places come up short on the portion size and taste this is the first time ordering a fish sandwich from Harvey Hinklemeyers , and let me tell you I was not disappointed at all.The sandwich was quite large compared to most other places, the breading to fish ratio was balanced out perfectly, the taste of the breading was very good and overall was a good filling sandwich and by the way I did order tater tots also and they didn’t disappoint me either. Two thumbs up great job

Good food and fun atmosphere of all the things hanging on the wall. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Appetizers were quick to make it to the table and the main food wasn’t to long of a wait after that. Had an Hawaiian sandwich which tasted fresh and sweet with the ham and pineapples. Overall a good experience.

Worst service I have experienced in a long time. Everything is slow. Been there twice. Both times the service was terrible. Couldn’t get a refill for my drink. Had to flag someone down just to get a to go box. Servers just fly by and don’t check to see how the food is or if we needed anything. Only time they were quick was when they wanted to get the check paid. Not a place I recommend or will go to on my own. Very bad experiences. Went there before going to a concert in Wabash. Ruined the entire night because of the terrible service.

Loud heating/vent system.
No pre-bussing from our table.
Drink refill brought for my son, not for my husband.
Had to ask for my salad bar plate/bowl.
We ordered a pizza with all pepperoni, all sausage, and half pineapple… they rang it up as a “half and half” pizza for $20, then charging for full sausage twice (3.34 x 2), full pepperoni once (3.34 x 1), and half pineapple once (1.17 x 1) bringing it to $34 for JUST the pizza… instead of charging for a 3 topping pizza which was advertised as $20.

Then made to feel like we’re wrong and how dare us question the bill.

We seem to have an issue every single time we try them. We’re done.
