Every small town has a place like Alexandris. It’s the place where you will always find the locals, especially senior folk. Service has always been speedy and friendly, even though they have been understaffed lately. The interior is clean but very dated. The fried eggs were cooked exactly as I asked and the bacon was just right. The rest of the food was not outstanding, but was certainly worth what I paid. This is not one of those places that is going to blindside you with amazing food, yet, it is certainly dependable and will never let you down.

This place is an institution and the second you take a bite, there’s no wonder it’s been around for a long time. I went for breakfast today and hadn’t been in nearly 10 years and the food still tastes the same. Amazing breakfast with large portions. Today I had a breakfast skillet. It came topped with sausage gravy and so much flavor. The cutest final touch was how our waitress signed our receipt – with a little “happy holidays”. I can’t wait to come back and try a dinner special.

I just ate the most delicious cheeseburger that I’ve had in years! It was soooooo juicy and absolutely scrumptious! And on a grilled bun! We have always loved their barley soup and liver and onions! It’s gonna be harder and harder to choose what we want because everything is so good! The service was phenomenal too! We’ll be back soon!

Busy on a Sunday morning. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Alexandria breakfasts are typical fare. They offer your basic eggs, meats, breakfast potato, omelets, pancakes, and French toast. I had the eggs with hash browns and sausage links. The hash brown portion was very generous, enough for three people. The food was good, eggs were cooked properly, and the sausage browned perfectly. I prefer my hash browns a bit more crispy. These were crispy on the outside but soft inside. My wife did like her French toast. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly. A nice breakfast for the price.

Happened to be in the area and wanted to try a new place for breakfast. The reviews were all good and now I know why. We arrived around 10 am on Saturday morning and did have a little bit of a wait but we were able to shop nearby until we were called on our buzzer. We love supporting family-owned businesses as opposed to restaurant chains. The food was plentiful and delicious! Especially, their fried potatoes. I’m not even a potato person and I could not stop eating them. Honestly, I don’t know what they do different but I’m glad they do what they do. We will most definitely be back next time we are in the area.

All you can eat fish or jumbo shrimp. Came with soup, salad bar, and roll. Everything was so fresh and delicious that I had to order some coleslaw to go.

My wife and I visited Alexandris on a Saturday around noon after our daughter’s cross-country race. There was a 10 minute wait which we visited the spice and tea shop next door.
Once seated, we got our drinks, and it took another few minutes for our waitress to take our order which was to be expected during their busy lunch rush.
My wife ordered the Greek Skillet (home fries, 2 eggs, feta cheese, tomatoes, gyro meat, olives, and a side of tzatziki sauce) with rye toast. I asked for the chicken parmesan and it came with a cup of soup (broccoli cheddar) and a trip to their salad bar.
The salad bar was small but had a decent variety for the size: lettuce, coleslaw, various veggies, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, and dressings. The soup was OK, not hot.
We enjoyed our meal. The food was good and I was very impressed with the price. Probably one of the best values at a restaurant I’ve seen in a long time. Lots of great specials.

Great place for breakfast! Small place, good for about two or four people. Always have great omlets! Tried to gyro omelette you won’t be disappointed!
