10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, nostalgic, great atmosphere family spot huge portions for super cheap and affordable prices I got the breaded cheese burger (burger patty and cheese slice breaded then fried) we also added an extra slice of cheese and bacon my boyfriend had the same my son got the bacon cheese burger and cheese curds I as well ordered a side of curds the spiral cut fries were definitely a must id order an extra cup of cheese sauce though also the cherry coke is probably the best I’ve ever had so definitely try that as well sadly didn’t get to try the ice cream this time but definitely will next time

The Magic Wand is a place I never tire of. It is an old fashion diner with a clown theme. The staff are friendly and the food is ALWAYS good no matter what you order. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have daily specials and the diner is a favorite of locals. On this particular trip I had their pork tenderloin with tater tots. My friend had a Magic Burger and onion rings. One thing that I really like about this diner is that you can basically get any type of potato product you want from tater tots, crinkle fries, ribbon fries, home fries, mashed potatoes plus cheese curds, mushrooms, onion rings. Also they has a nice selection of ice cream treats and other desserts. Stop in it is worth the visit.

Okay YUM! The cheese curds were super flavorful. I enjoyed my tenderloin and my boyfriend enjoyed his magic burger. The cole slaw is homemade and delicious. We were happy with the service. It’s a cute old-fashioned diner, but if you have a thing about clowns you may want to order from the window.

I don’t often write reviews like this, but my experience recently I feel warrants some feedback somewhere… I came in Saturday night 02/21 with my family about an hour before close looking for a quick bite after a long day of tournaments. We sat ourselves and waited. The waitress and Manager on staff ignored us. After over 15 mins of the staff looking at us and deliberately avoiding our table and refusing to even talk to us we got up and left.
No explanation, no apology. Just flat out treated myself and my family like we weren’t worth their time.
I patron locally often, but I think this will be our last time stopping at the wand. I’ve had some service blips in the past, all of which I could forgive or excuse. We all have a bad day/make a mistake – but for multiple staff members (including the Manager on duty) to outright ignore customers because it’s near the end of the night is a ridiculously poor level of customer service and is a sign it’s systemic coming down from the MOD herself. I hope the owner sees this and considers how these employees are impacting their business. Magic wand has been a local staple for a long time, but this kind of behavior from staff is the kind of thing that drives restaurants to lose regular customers and close their doors.

We stopped here for dinner while traveling. The nostalgic-looking sign caught our attention. We were not disappointed. We had cheese bites, breaded mushrooms, the “magic burger,” fries and a banana split. It was all fresh and delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive. The whole restaurant has such an old-fashioned, homey vibe. All the décor is vintage clowns, which some might find unnerving, but I thought it added to the charm! Highly recommend!

Wow, I said wow, there’s not a lot better you can say than just wow this stuff is great. This is one of those little places you just don’t find anymore. The place is spotless. The food is fabulous. The people are friendly if you’re driving by this spot, don’t mess up and go past it. I had the sausage gravy and homemade biscuits for breakfast. Partner out from the south and I know what good biscuits and gravy are and this is some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. They also make something called a breaded hamburger. It must be good half the people in there was eating one.Go ahead and stop. You won’t be disappointed.
