Even an hour before closing the food was still very good. I would recommend giving this one a try. The drive thru lady was nice and helped me place my order easily as it was my first time.

I placed an online order thinking it would be the easiest and fastest way to grab my lunch before going back to work, but this was not the case at this location. First of all, the line of people waiting to place their order was to the front door, and the counter area where you pick up orders was crowded with angry customers. If it wasn’t for the receipts in people’s hands, I honestly wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference between the lines. I tried for 10 minutes to get to the counter while customers who previously received their orders kept coming back because their orders were missing something. When I finally got to the counter, there was only one person in front of house who was filling and distributing orders slowly. She was trying to be accurate but was moving far too slow. She only spoke Spanish, so she had difficulty dealing with customers who only spoke English, myself being one of them. It wasn’t until almost 10 minutes later (so 20 minutes total) when the long line of customers were gone that I was able to ask for my order from the cashier. Next, my simple double chicken avocado salad order was not ready as it should have been 20 minutes earlier, and I was told they only had thigh meat, which I do not eat. I finally asked them to cancel the order, and then, like magic, they had breast meat to place on the salad. The cashier tried to make it up to me by offering me a free drink, but I was far too frustrated at this point. After I got my salad, it was not double chicken at all, but rather a small amount. This took nearly my entire lunch break from work, and it shouldn’t have. So, unfortunately, I will not be going back to this location any time soon. I hope they learn from this and get it together.

I would give them 0 stars. I ordered food through the drive-thru, and the lady told me to order when I was ready—which I already was—but then she left me waiting for more than 5 minutes.
When I finally got my order, she gave me iced tea instead of a Coke. The drink was warm, had no ice, and was the wrong drink altogether. I ordered the 3 tacos al carbon combo, and it looked like they had just thrown the tacos, chips, and meat onto the plate. Everything was a mess.
I was very disappointed by the poor customer service and the condition of the food

Came to the store the first time, and the employer taking care of the front did not offer to help us, I asked nicely to help us since we had people that were seniors and she right of way said you can go ahead and order from the Machine and turned and dismissed us showing her back, I quickly saw another senior and I quickly advised her to please assist the senior since he didn’t know how to use the machine , I told him that she didn’t want to help so I insisted for her to help him so she suddenly change her mind and offer to help. I recommend for the manager to understand that this business consist in helping and serving and delivering great customer service, I believe she can do a better job if she can be corrected. Thank you.

When you walk in expect for no one to help you. You will be directed to the kiosk. If you get stuck or need help they will tell you ” someone will help you”. Which will not be true you will be left standing there for 5-10min with no one to help you. On top of it all tables will be dirty, no napkins or lids. When you ask them for some they will roll their eyes and give you the items with bad expression.
While I was eating I seen 3 people leave because no one would help them use the kiosk. I seen so many older folks asking for help and they said “we can’t take your order!” I the customer got up not once but twice to help the older folks that had been struggling and standing there for more than 8 min. While the employees just stood there and watched me help them instead of them coming over and taking over to help them. You guys had like 5-8 people and not one person could help or clean the lobby. Pollo loco check your cameras 2/4/26 between 1:53pm – 2:30 and see how many people walked out, how many times I got up to help, and see how your employees were doing nothing. Get new employees or lower their pay if they can’t do their job. It’s ridiculous!

Went drive through; very slow service, with three cars in front, waited 20 minutes. I ordered the eight piece family meal with a large soda almost $40. That would have been ok if we would have enjoyed the meal. When we got home, the chicken was burnt, it was so burnt that the pieces were extra small. Plus, the chicken was completely dried. The salad I ordered as a side was old and soggy. Could not eat the salad.
I have not found a good Pollo Loco in Orange County anymore. Another place off my list!!!

The service and food has turned out great the two times I have visited. The only thing is the dining area needs more of a sweep. Other than that the workers are great and accommodating.

I do not recommend this place. Their workers just don’t care. I came to order some food and four people were served before me and my order was never fulfilled. I left because I had to make it back in time to work for lunch and I was never refunded. I came back to try to get a refund, but they said that Il they didn’t know what I was talking about and I needed the receipt. I lost my receipt and had no way to prove that I placed an order other than showing them my bank account, but I guess that didn’t count. It’s no wonder they want to replace workers with robots they just don’t care.

I have ordered chips here several times, and this is the third time I’ve noticed the same issue — not many chips in the bag, maybe half filled. I actually mentioned it to an employee, and they told me the chips are weighed out and “that’s what you get.” I should’ve taken a picture to prove it — next time I will! For the price, the portion could definitely be more generous. Hopefully management can review this so customers get fair value for what they pay.
