First time here. I got the buffet. They have a great variety of food. My favorite was the tamales. The most impressive was not just the food but the customer service. My waiter was super attentive and very friendly. I saw how he treated all his tables, he made everyone feel at home. THANK U Zack for making my first time at La Morena a great one. My wife enjoy eating at this place so much! The atmosphere is so peaceful and the food is exquisite ! In addition, Fernando our waiter is always so professional and attentive to what we need. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants some real authentic Mexican food.

OK SO… I had not tried this restaurant and I thought Valentines Day was perfect to take my parents and my family! It was around 1:30 or 2 pm. We ordered our food and anticipated the taste plus we were all starving… well we got our food !! THE FOOD WAS COLD AND IT TASTED LIKE YESTERDAYS LEFT OVERS!! I ask if we could warm up my plate but when the girl took my plate brought it back and holding the plate with a towel so I thought it would burn me if I touched me! WELL I GO TO MOVE MY PLATE A LITTLE AND THE PLATE & FOOD WAS STILL COLD!!! I tried but THE PRICE WAS RIDICULOUS!!! EXPENSIVE AS HELL!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK! My family was very disappointed!! Thank you for ruining my craving for Mexican food

First time going for a brunch buffet! There were many choices of food! Mostly Mexican, but a few American favorites. They have TVs all around showing the current football games, and sometimes a local small group of musicians come and play at your table, for a small donation.

I am beyond angry with the restaurant “La Morena” on Lee Trevino . I bought a chicken tortilla soup to go. When I got home this is what I saw. I went back to complain ,so they can make it right. I feel as customers we deserve what we pay for. When I got there the owner argued with me , that that’s the portion they serve. I told her that’s not true. When I come here to eat, the portion is different. She told me “I’m not giving you nothing for free”!! I said , “It’s not free I paid for it!! No effort on the owner to make it right. I told her to give me back my money. She refused. So I’m giving them a bad review. She argued and yelled at me in front of customers. That said a lot about the owner. Here is the picture of the soup. See for yourselves. Picture 1 is the broth and picture 2 is the chicken with vegetables soup is together. Picture 3 is together. I hope they lose clients. For being thief’s. We work hard for our money to get this kind of service. Save yourselves. Don’t go there.

We had La Morena cater my grandfather’s memorial service, as it was his favorite restaurant in El Paso. The staff was so professional and the food was absolutely delicious. They did a great job and our entire party was accommodated. Thank you, La Morena!

I would say this place is overall good. Service was friendly, food was good, but price is way to much for what you get. Me, my wife, and daughter (10) got the morning buffet. The bill ended up being close to 80$. I get it’s a business but like honestly close to 27$ per person is crazy.

I am so disappointed with this place. If I could give them zero rating that’s what they deserve. We use grab hub to order from here. The food that they brought is was under cooked and tripitas still had excrement in them aka ( ). They weren’t cleaned properly. The tortillas were raw and plasticky texture. The chicken tortilla soup only one cube of chicken. So like any customer my wife called the restaurant to tell them about the order. From the get go my wife got attitude for the lady (Mona) that answered the phone. She told her to wait and that she had to talk to the GM about the food. When Mona got on the phone she told my wife that the GM said that everything was ok and I believe him and not you. My wife told Mona that we have the pictures and wanted to talk to the GM. She responded to send them to her personal cell but nothing was going to change. That she was going to place my wife on hold but this are Mona’s words “I’ll put you on hold but I don’t know when the GM will answer.” That’s when I got on the call. I told her it was unacceptable. That she’s also consumer if something happened to her like this she would be complaining too. She had nothing to say to me when I told her that. There was silence on the phone and I asked if she was there. She said I’m here. At this point when I would start to talk she would try to talk over me. So I told her what I came down to the restaurant and made a scene. At that point she that’s when she started to talk about giving us a credit for the burritos due to the tortillas but that was it. I said no due to their incompetence and ruining our dinner. That we need a full refund. We were not going to eat tripitas still had excrement in them. That we don’t have any dinner for my family. She told us to take the food in and we will see if you get a refund. I said no if you are not sure we are getting a refund. Her response was due to you ordering thru GrubHub. We are not responsible for the food that comes from GrubHub. I said “Your restaurant made the food. What do you mean you are not responsible for the food.” Mona said well sir you need to call them and we don’t talk to GrubHub. Then she hung up on me. I can’t believe this people but they will be the first people to voice their opinions. This is so sad and I can’t believe they have no human feelings for there fellow human beings. Do not order for delivery once it out the doors they don’t care.
