We could not be happier with the meal we got at Aariv, our first time trying this spot. It came highly recommended- as someone from the northeast i feel I have no shortage of incredible Indian food there and so i came to Myrtle beach with no expectations. We were blown away! Highlights were the chicken sukha appetizer: the most tender and moist chicken in the most bright and herby comfort-meal type sauce. I got the classic aloo gobhi, and adored how we could tell the cauliflower and potatoes had been previously marinated in some tumeric style deliciousness before being added to the perfectly spicy masala. Of course a star of the show was the chicken tikka masala, dynamic, buttery, and hit every note. We were so impressed as people who go out for Indian food so often! What a hidden gem. Paired with garlic naan it made for the most comforting, satiating, and perfectly portioned meal. Our server was kind, attentive, and even shared with us one of their incredible house desserts after: the smoothest baked Greek yogurt topped with a fragrant, fruity mango sauce. Not too sweet, the perfect texture and taste to punctuate the awesome time we had there. We will be back often and look forward to recommending this place to everyone we know! A Myrtle beach must-stop!

Don’t let the atmosphere fool you. It may look very simple and not special. However, the food is immaculate. This restruant might have ruined regular Indian food for me. I have no chance of finding anything as good as this restraunt. We were visiting for a few weeks in the area and out of every restaurant in the area, we went here 3 times. That says something. Everyone there is super friendly and even though we only came a few times they recognized us and greeted us like friends.

Have been struggling to find good Indian food and found this AARIV in a search! We drove almost an hour and we would have driven an hour more for this food! First time trying Goat and had the Goat Rogan Josh, WOW! Wifey had Chicken Tikka Masala and we shared an app of Samosas. Food and Service is exceptional and friendly with a smile! Stop reading now and be on your way to AARIV…maybe we will see you there!

10/5. I have experienced many Indian food places. This is by far the best I’ve ever had. The gentleman serving us, Shawn, was extremely kind and made sure everything was perfect. If you are craving Indian cuisine, this place is certainly worth the drive!!! Id rate it higher if I could.

I was optimistic about the ratings being so high but after trying their food I can see why. I rate the food definitely as a 5 star. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. It’s not easy to find a good Indian restaurant and this one is a great Indian restaurant. I had the spicy lamb curry with biryani rice.

Best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve only been to about 10 in total, but the food and service here blows everything else away. The naan bread was fresh and tasty. The goat tiki masala was perfectly done. The medium spicy was a perfect blend of spices and heat for my very American palate. The goat was tender. The rice was perfect. The server was very attentive and polite. You cannot and willnot find a better Indian restaurant outside of a major city like New York, or D.C.
The quantity of food for a single order was enough for two distinct meals. The prices seem a little high (to a local) but once you see both the quantity (a lot of food) and the quality (amazing taste), you’ll understand it’s very much worth the price.

Very good owner and the staff is so friendly. we had come from chs for a small break and found this little gem of an Indian Restaurant.Definitely recommend it if you wanna feel welcomed and feel the warmth of Hospitality, and above all the food was amazing, felt like a home made Indian meal .

I would recommend go ahead and drink couple of glass ocean water instead of eating food in this restaurant. I have eaten many suboptimal indian food in the USA but this was the worst. Food taste nothing like indian food. Has no salt or spices. I ordered in uber eats. They sent the food without any cutlery. Cherry on the top is there was a hair in the curry. My advice will please don’t keep your hope up if you are eating here and also if this is your first time indian food, don’t put it as standard.
