Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

Ordered a plain Marty melt and waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru at 11 p.m. Got home and had extra everything, and not the first time it’s happened. Just not the type to put reviews out, but it’s getting to be everywhere in Mustang lately.

This location continues to disappoint. We paid extra for onion rings as sides and got zero onion rings, all fries. My Monterey melt was the worst one I’ve had at any whataburger in any state.

I was in town visiting family and made a stop here one morning for breakfast. I’ve never had Whataburger for breakfast before. I got the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit , Hashbrowns , and a Sweet Tea and ate in the dining area. The cashier was very nice and talkative and brought my food out to my table with a carrier of things you might need like napkins , ketchup , utensils , etc. Also later after my meal the Manager came by asking how everything was and also talked to some of the other diners.
The Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit was okay. It sounded better than it was. The biscuit itself was made perfectly and tasted good as did the chicken , but next time I would get it without the honey butter. The Hashbrowns were like big fat french fries which I liked and I used the regular ketchup and the spicy ketchup. I didn’t really care for the spicy ketchup because it just tasted like a lot of Tabasco in it. I like spicy food , but not a real fan of Tabasco and it was really strong. I love Sweet Tea , but dang how many cups of sugar did they put in this thing. I had to mix 2 thirds sweet to 1 third unsweetened. I had sweet tea every day for a week at different restaurants in OKC and this was by far the sweetest.
I live in Las Vegas and we have a Whataburger on the Strip that is 2 stories and serves alcohol. I’ve only been once with a co-worker for a burger. They are supposed to build some off the Strip too. The burgers are good sized and not bad for the one I had. I want to try more of the menu when they move into the neighborhoods.

5 stars is not enough for the exceptional service that was received today. Colby at this location was so kind, courteous, patient. He will be the reason I return. I witnessed this man be so very kind with the elderly lady ahead of me. I got the same kindness. Colby thank you for showing me there is still excellent customer service out there! Fantastic job!! Wonderful food!

This place gets a pretty terrible wrap, but each time we’ve been here, everyone is super nice, our orders are correct, and the food is good quality. We’ve never dined in, just always used the drive thru. It’s always fast and the food hot.

Came for breakfast on Saturday morning at 8:30. So the service was great, the employees were very service oriented. Unfortunately the quality was the worst ever. The biscuits were so hard and either overcooked or held too long. The plastic knife broke trying to cut them. The ketchup was expired or something. It was completely separated. The potato sticks (hash browns) were both cold and too hard at the same time. I had diet Dr pepper. It was super foamy and came out warm and flat. I heard two different people ask about their coffee being cold. So yeah, kind of a quality miss compared to what I am used to from a Whataburger. The place was clean. So they get the normal 3 stars for “atmosphere” not more because they are still playing annoying generic Christmas music, and there was nothing “special”. Not the employees choice I am sure.

I waited in line for over almost 20 minutes, expecting a hot and fresh meal, but was completely disappointed. Not only was my food cold by the time I got it, but the burger patty was visibly raw and pink in the center, which is completely unacceptable and unsafe. Whataburger is supposed to serve their burgers well-done, so this was a serious quality and food safety issue. After such a long wait, to be handed something undercooked and inedible is beyond frustrating. I won’t be coming back unless the standards are seriously improved.

This place offers pretty good food. I ordered a sweet and spicy bacon burger and the flavor was just spot on; it wasn’t too spicy and it had that kick of sweetness to it as well. I ordered a large meal and it was huge, I probably should stick to medium next time. As for the other burgers I haven’t tried yet, I heard that they’re good too. Overall 5/5 rating.

Some of my coworkers have been telling me that I should try the honey butter chicken biscuit from Whataburger. So, this morning I did. Hopefully my cautionary tale will save you from suffering my same disappointment. To start with, I was in the drive through line for about 25 minutes. But the real horror began when I got the food home and unwrapped it. I first was met with tater tots that looked more like bricks. Then I unwrapped the sandwich and discovered an overcooked chicken tender in a biscuit with an unholy amount of honey butter sauce running out of the sides. I gave it a taste and it was awful. The biscuit was mushy, the chicken was rubbery and flavorless and the sickening sweetness of the honey butter was overwhelming. It was so bad I didn’t even finish it. These guys should stick to burgers and leave the chicken biscuits to that other place. You know the one I mean.

This location does have a bit of a weight, but I would rather have fresh hot food than food, but it has been sitting for a while like some other restaurants. Great customer service will be returning.
