At our Findlay, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

It’s a nice clean restaurant. The staff is very fast and very friendly. Helpful when bringing out your food and getting free refills of your drink. The food is fresh and very good. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. It’s a nice place to get seafood.

Went through the drive-thru just a little bit ago to order my meal and from start to finish was an absolute pleasure to go through the drive-thru at this Captain D’s location! Employee was super friendly food came out super fast extremely hot and fresh !! Absolutely the best service in food I’ve ever had at a Captain D’s location! Super pleased and look forward to coming back to this location in the future! Great job to all the employees that are working at this location In my opinion they are doing an excellent job!

Hi I went to the captain ds on fostora Ave and first off they over cooked everything and to top it off my order only came to $14 and they charged me $33 and went to refund me and charged me another $12 on top of that so all said and done they charged me $44 for a meal that was supposed to be $14. The workers there have no idea what they are doing and not paying attention to how much they are charging people. I’m sure I’m not the only one that got ripped off

I eat here often, usually great. Tonight not so much. There were 3 tables in the dining room. When any of our food was delivered to our tables, food was missing (not done yet). 20 minutes later we reminded them, “OH yea” was the response we all received. That food after a while longer finally came. The food we all first received was way over cooked, almost burnt on some things, except fries, they were all cold like they were cooked earlier.
The service was extremely nice. I could tell by the staffs comments, we were not the first issues of the day.
I eat here once or twice a week, usually have no problems.
Lately there is a sewer smell in the dining room. Its getting worse as time goes on.

Went to the store today and a lady wearing an orange shirt was outside cursing and saying harsh things about the employees. Meanwhile my wife and I waited almost 30min! for our food. We will never return to this store as it has went down hill.

I love Captain D’s food but the constant personnel changes and sometimes bad service makes it hard to go as often as I’d like to. So slow and not very remorseful about it.

Very sad to haven’t been to Captain D’s in awhile use to be clean . The food wasn’t good then to the cashier that was a whole other story . There was more branding than fish? Totally disappointed!
