Went there hoping to get some flounder, crabs, and lobster. We saw a video on the website of all that. When we got there the waiter said it’s only what is in season. I got rockfish, which I didn’t care for. My wife got steamed shrimp, which to her were over cooked. The crab dip was good. Going forward, I would call ahead to see what’s on the menu before going because it changes. Our bill was around $150. Expensive lesson.

What a hidden gem in Ocean City! Our waitress was outstanding — so friendly, attentive, and gave us fantastic recommendations. My husband and I both ordered the swordfish entrée and absolutely loved it. Everything was fresh and beautifully cooked. We can’t wait to go back!

The shark was highly disappointing. What a dump!! We were greeted by a dilapidated parking lot and building, containers with dead plant material and sad American Flags, greasy handrails, Unsafe, stairs, torn window screen, handicapped sign, stuck in an old barrel. We expected a night of high end dining in a high-end restaurant. The food was very good. The atmosphere was terrible. The bar is in the center of the dining area and it’s very noisy. The bathrooms were disgusting. The inside Of the restaurant is in need of maintenance-dangling Tiny white lights were in operable in many of the windows. It is unfortunate that the chef is operating in such a neglected facility! He/ She deserves better!!

Our first visit to The Shark…and we will be back. The views are great, service was wonderful, and the food topped it all off as amazing. The menu changes regularly so the food is fresh! We even got to sample some hummus that was out of this world. The food ordered was at the recommendation of the waiter we had as well. Great experience.

We made a reservation for a Friday evening and had a great meal. They have a tiny little parking lot out front but we had no issues finding a spot. The restaurant is somewhat small, and has a quaint fishing harbor vibe. The restaurant is directly on the harbor and you can get some great family/group pictures there.

The menu changes and during our visit we ordered the halibut, the swordfish, and a garden salad with crab cake. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. They brought out an amuse bouche and bread for the table. Service is attentive and friendly.

Prices are a bit higher than what you’ll find on the main drag, but the quality is certainly there. This would be great for a couples dinner, family dinner, or celebration. They also have a kids menu for the littles however our 10 year old is at the “I’m not a kid stage” , he ordered off the main menu.

The dinner menu changes daily. When we went we had steamed shrimp as an appetizer and catfish and short ribs for an entree. The waiter Edwin was excellent. Our food came out quickly as he juggled several tables that were being difficult. Portions are large food was good, when they say spicy they mean it. Catfish was crunchy and the Cajun rice was full of flavor and heat.
. Short ribs were okay but could have done with a better broth when cooking and were slightly dry. Mashed potatoes were great.

The food sucked. They try to put on the Ritz but fall way short with the food. Who ever heard of blueberries with oysters? And pickled onions on top of your fried oysters? My wife got their eggplant and it wasn’t cooked enough. Won’t be going back.
