Live out of state now, but always crave a nice Weiner Works slaw dog. The restaurant was fairly busy as the noon hour when I arrived. Staff is very friendly, handling walk ins, drive through, and delivery services with ease. The slaw dog and fries were good. But taste is a little different than I remember. Not sure if there has been a supplier change on any of the ingredients?

Best value anywhere.

Drive thru experience today. Menu board. She can’t hear me and I can barely hear her. Intercom has been that way for awhile and I barely go there and remember that. Asked for ketchup mustard and coleslaw on the basic dog. Got Coleslaw only with the dog at least. Ordered the Chicken Filet Sandwich that was always in my mind one of the best around and massive. Now its 3″ in diameter style bun with a smaller piece of what seemed like something I could heat up from Food Lion Grocery. Asked for tomato, cheese, lettuce, with mayo and mustard. So they missed the Lettuce also. Mind you they charge $.50 for tomato now and it was smaller than the chicken piece. $10 and some change and I’m still hungry after finishing. This is called shrinkflation and not maintaining technology for orders, all wrapped up with a large side of greed.

Customer service is by far the best!

Pro:
– service and friendliness
– fast
– affordable
– loads of options

Con:
– buns (I wish they used fluffier better buns, by the time you open your dog, it’s covered in condiments)

Overall not bad at all, will return!

I was the only person ordering inside. After placing my order several more people came in and the server took their orders. I waited over 15 minutes to get a hotdog and fries because the server said there were only 3 people working. After waiting an extra 5 minutes I went back up to the counter to ask where my food was. It had been erased from the order board so no one was making my order. Finally the server said she would prepare my order herself. I love Weiner Works but probably hesitant to go back for awhile.

So first of all, I am a huge hotdog lover and Hebrew nationals are my go to. I went for the top dog on the menu the big dog. Have to say the dog was discolored and a bit mushy with no snap or crunch. For a hotdog place, I have to say, I am disappointed. The French fries taste like McDonald’s though, which caught me off guard. All in all, I would not come back here.

Weiner Works is okay – as someone who’s a NC native, but from out of town I’m familiar with family-owned chains that try to keep things going. Wiener works appears to be suffering – walking into the store is like walking pleasantly into a chain from the 90’s, with original flooring, tables, and chairs. The place is neat and clean. Service is bright, cheerful, and attentive.

Plenty of flies inside for some reason.

The food left some to be desired – the steamed dog was loaded with fixings, but the bun is not large enough to support them, and packaging food into a bag when it should be horizontal instead of vertical is problematic. Hot dog itself was alright, chili was tasty. You could probably make the equivalent of this kind of food yourself, and better.

Milkshakes sub-par. I’d recommend elsewhere.

Very, very terrible service they were taking care of the drive-through we came aside to eat only had two orders. I need to have a limit on the drive-through no more than two orders per car
We waited 20 minutes for two hotdogs and two fries unbelievable. It doesn’t take that long to make a hotdog.

After the long wait, we asked for a refund and they said they didn’t have a refund policy, which is very unacceptable. Every company has a refund policy of some sort or some kind of complementary meal.

This place has been my go-to spot for hot dogs, skinny fries (hot and crispy), and cherry soda for years and my last visit was as good as my first. I’m glad they’re still around and I look forward to going back!

Went through drive thru: foot long was placed in two small papers meant for regular hot dog. So when I pull it out of bag it fell apart and dropped food everywhere. I was given 1 napkin! 1! Do better
