Newest Mexican style restaurant in the area. This is definitely set up as a casual, family friendly atmosphere. A big plus is that (after several visits), there always seems to be ample staff on hand. The owner is always around and likes talking to customers. Overall, just a good feeling when visiting here. A similar restaurant on the north side of town has equally good food and service. However, they are clearly set up as a “fine dining” Mexican restaurant – and priced accordingly. If you want a good casual style Mexican Restaurant – give El Ranchito a try.

This was the smallest tamale I have ever had. For almost $5. It does not even taste like a tamale. Drenched in super spicy sauce.. I just wanted the tamale. My family tried it and it was mushy and nothing but sauce. Unfortunately, there was no seasoning in the food. We will pass on this place. Will say the sauces were good.

Excellent experience. Chips and salsa were brought out with our drinks. We ordered lunch. Burrito meal was phenomenal. Extra amount of chicken with a side of yummy beans and rice. Supreme burrito was covered with cheese sauce and all the extra toppings on the side. Yuridia, our server, was very attentive and kind. Overall, it was a great value with delicious food and upbeat atmosphere. Will definitely be our new go to in Lake Wales.

Visited for the first time as the location is newer to the area. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and we were a party of 5. Service was very efficient and fast. However, the food did not meet the same level of service. The chips tasted like they had been fried in old oil and the horchata was sour tasting but they did replace it for something else. I had the flautas and the taste was the same as the chips like they had been fried in old oil. Nobody really liked their food and mentioned it was very plain and mediocre. Kind of bummed because we love Mexican food and would have love a new place closer to town. Unfortunately, don’t plan on returning based on this first impression. Maybe we’ll give it a try someday.

What a pleasant experience! 2 for 1 Margaritas on a Saturday! It was busy, yet we were seated almost immediately. The waitress was super nice and accommodating. The food was great! The complimentary chips and salsa were brought out super fast, and our burritos were done in an amazingly short time, even though it was busy. The Margaritas were really good, too. If you’re in the area, definitely stop here.

We came here as a recommendation, and it did not dissapoint. No frills, just good mexican food, and that what makes a good place in my opinion. Place is clean, service from our server was excellent, and even the chef greeted us from the kitchen. We had fajitas and flautas as main courses, and they were both superb. I know the owner works the business themselves, the husband is the chef and the wife serve tables. I’m sure that has a lot to do with the overall quality. All in all, we gonna be regulars. Sponsor your local business. It is 100% worth it in this case. Ohhh, the prices were extremelly reasonable and they even have non-alcoholic beer if you cannot do alcohol but appreciate a beer with your food. That was a nice touch. Congratulations Nancy and family…you have something good going on in your joint.

Been here several times. Last time we were there they were extremely busy and messed up one of our meals 3 times. Not counting them out just yet. But may rethink if their busy again. Not the waitress issue was kitchen order was not fixed 3 times. Still love the food and atmosphere. Hopefully it was a one time thing. I still give them 5 stars

We had a party of 19 and each of us had something different. Every one of the dishes was very good, the service was good and we all got our meals piping hot in a resonable amount of time for so many people all at once. The prices are reasonable too. I have food allergies so they customized my burrito for me. It was delicious as were the rice and beans. We all agreed we would come back for one of our ladies’ luncheons in the future.
