Went here Monday (03.02.2026) night for a lil get together with group of friends and had a really good experience overall! The space is big, clean, and modern with lots of seating, high-top tables, TVs, and good lighting, and it worked really well for a group hangout without feeling cramped or too loud.
Our waitress, Paiton, was attentive, friendly, and patient with our group (which isn’t always easy on a Monday night!). Drinks and food came out quickly, and we never felt rushed.
The vibe felt relaxed and easygoing, which made it a comfortable place to talk because the layout made it easy for people to move around and mingle.
Would definitely come back for a casual group night. Thanks!

We were looking for something out of our normal routine and remembered that The Break had a wonderful brunch, so we thought we would try dinner. We were able to be seated right away and our server Em came right up to great us. We had the pretzel bites for an appetizer, the Chimichurri sandwich, and the jalapeño cheesesteak. Everything was delicious. Em was attentive and truly a delight. Our favorite part of the evening was Shandi Michelle. She was the live entertainment/vocals! The Break may be a sports bar, but Shandi was all we wanted to watch. Thank you for such a wonderful evening we will be back for the service, food , and entertainment.

The break is awesome for delicious food and a fun time with friends. This location is right on the river with beautiful trees and a porch for outdoor dining. We were upstairs for a private event. Great staff. We had Ahi nachos and the chicken rice bowl. Both so yummy. Their fries are amazing.

Sports bar with great service and decent food. Easy to pop in and out when you need a bite and catch the latest games. Tried the weekend brunch for the first time today and I might have to do this more often because there were a lot of offerings on that menu I was curious to try. In the service industry, the customer should never have to be the one to engage first.
I have been coming to this bar since they opened a few years ago, and I am also a former bartender. Great experience at first, and I gave a positive review about that in the beginning. I don’t feel the same way I used to, though.
My thoughts? FOH staff, especially the bartenders, need to pay more attention to their regulars. They are what keep the lights on, after all. I’m not talking about the loud, obnoxious ones, either. I was a weekly patron for many months during a particularly trying time in my life, and eventually chose to go somewhere else because the bar staff here is just so aloof and inattentive. I gave it time, too, because there are bad days, right? You don’t always know what someone else is going through. However, there were times where I never felt so invisible.
After six or more months of weekly visits, there is only one bartender here that ever even made the effort to learn my name or tried to remember what I might like to order. I still often get the cold shoulder from her too, though, and I just don’t understand.
Now, I may stop in for a quick beer or meal with friends. But, it’s not my go-to anymore. I really wish that was different.

Very loud and also we had a party of 50 and everyone ordered their drinks but also we had the bar to provide food as a buffet style. We had the bar from 5-8pm and they started their bingo at around 7:30. It was already very loud and we couldn’t hear one another, but with the bingo and the host yelling to the mic, it was not enjoyable to talk to the people at the party. Also would have been better if they rearranged their chair settings a little better since there was no space for the party and the table and chairs were in the middle of the bar the way that it was when it’s a normal night with normal setting. Other than that I enjoyed the gluten free Mexican food the host had the bar provided. Very yummy toasts and chicken and Mexican rice

Every drink (Key Lime, Pink Lady and Lime Ricky) was delicious and our food was fantastic. The service was prompt and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We live about an hour from here but we will certainly return with friends. Highly recommend!

Such good food, good service. What I witnessed at this bar was staff talking and working together. Communicating, making the flow of everything work just right.
Often I sit with my wife and read the room and see how employees handle things. Every staff member was kind polite and very helpful.
Carlos was accurate, food came fast and I could tell he went the extra mile.

I’ve been to this location many times in the past under different names! First impression as The Break. I was pleasantly surprised. The main bar was clean and busy. Sunday football games on the television screens through bar. I was with a large birthday party that had the upstairs bar reserved. The bartenders were fast friendly and able to keep up with our non-stop drink orders. The staff has a great system for food delivery as well. Orders came up fast and hot. Keep up the great work The Break Murray! We will definitely be back soon!
