Good food, good ice cream, nice people. Great atmosphere with several drive up locations and many picnic tables to eat at. Stopped here with my wife on a bike trip riding on the Dakota Regional Trail. Immediately just off the trail and super easy to get to by bike. Can’t miss it. You can see the trail in some of my pics. Perfect spot to stop for a break to get a quick, friendly, delicious hot fudge Sundays.

Very cool place to visit on Thursday nite. Great classic cars, customized hot rods and most classy senior citizens .
The burgers and malts are throw backs and the daily double cheeseburger special is great to enjoy at a picnic table with friends.
Easy to start a conversation, get some car talk going and a few stories of yesteryear.
The place can get congested quickly, so if you don’t have a car you want to showoff, park across the street at the mall and stroll over for the fun.
A great summer evening experience for young, old and anyone in between. Take few pictures of some classic cars and people!

What a marvelous piece of American nostalgia this place is! After the Minnesota Twins game, I went chasing after “Prince history” and purified myself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka. Before that, I stumbled upon this spot. I had the fried chicken dinner with fries and slaw and I absolutely loved it. The chicken is great! You’ll have to wait a bit, but wait and enjoy this treasure.

I just happened to me nearby viewing an apartment and decided to stop here for lunch. I love dining at these dinosaur establishments all over the twin cities. This place had a good burger, it was pricey for the size by which I mean you could go to McDonald’s/ Wendy’s for the same price and get a bigger burger and whole meal. But the burger and fries were good. I would visit again if I was in the area. If you eat on their picnic tables you get a nice view of the lake.

Very cool local spot with great food! The chicken tenders and fried chicken are amazing, some of the best I’ve had! The cheese curds and fries are also great options. My mom loves the onions rings! Good root beer float too!! Lots of outdoor seating in the shade

I can’t believe I have not rated Minnetonka Drive-In yet. I’ve lived out here for 24 years and I can walk to the drive-in. Their burgers are amazing and we go here quite often. On Thursdays they have the old car show which is really cool but super busy. I highly recommend heading to the drive-in when it’s open during the summer. It does close down during the winter so time it wisely. This was an old A&W Root beer drive-in so it’s legit a drive-in! If you don’t drive there you can always walk inside and order and then sit on one of the tables and they will bring your food out to you. It’s such a fun experience that you can’t miss so make time to go there

surprise date night turned into absolute joy when we pulled up to the minnetonka drive in! transport yourself back to an easier time when you could order good food at a very decent price from the comfort of your car. the california supreme was tops! i am still thinking about this burger this morning. it was full of flavor! the bun seemed bakery made and did not overpower the ingredients. a basket of fries is plenty for two! crinkle cuts are my fav! all was ordered and out to the car within minutes, but did not have that gross fast food vibe! will be back❣️

We love going to the drive-in during the summer. I always get the chicken dinner and for the price, it’s pretty good. This is where I bring my parents if they come visit and want something quick.
