My first time here and as I gauged the pay first system, I immediately noticed the conveyor belt oven…sigh.
I had heard really good things in local pizza groups and reviews so I stayed optimistic.
I am impressed. A quick rise, high yeast dough and they must be cranking the temp in that conveyor oven because this pizza had crisp on the edge and bottom despite being thick and chewy.
I was also impressed with the toppings with very flavorful pepperoni, fresh not canned mushrooms and a nice crumble sausage that crisped nicely along with a generous amount of cheese.
As a huge Rico fan, this is a great place to get an excellent thicker style pizza and dine in. Lots of tables in a friendly atmosphere with pitchers of beer available.
This is my new favorite dine in pizza spot in Lee county and within my top 5 quality pizzas overall in the county.

I have been to this place 3 times before writing this review. Food is disgraceful. One of the worst wings I have ever had (that honor goes to Buckets in Ft Myers). Il Primo doesn’t even cook the wings to order, allegedly. The wings are just hanging around and then are dipped into sauce that’s already hot once they are ordered, allegedly. The wings were warm outside and when you bite into them, they are room temperature/cold. My last straw with this place is I asked for the wings to be “wet” and they literally filled the cheap flimsy styrofoam plate with so much sauce that it spilled in my car. I literally had to pour the sauce out of the plate because it was so much. Then to have all that sauce and it’s tasteless and the chicken had no seasoning, why? The fries are also very very disgusting. The pizza is not enjoyable either. The crust and the sauce are mediocre. Idk what everybody else in the comments are eating but either they have never left the Ft Myers area and had real good tasting food before or they are being paid, allegedly, because all of the restaurants with high reviews in the area are nasty. Il Primo will never see another dime of my money. Disgusting. Yuck.

Super busy guessing because of how good the pizza is! The lady accidentally dropped our pizza but made sure we didnt wait too long on a new fresh one with some extra sauce super happy.

I’ve been eating Friends Pizza a lot but I forgot how good Il Primos was. Awesome pizza and wings. Can’t go wrong with Il Primo.

I ordered here 4 plus times a week, my family and I are obsessed with the food. My go to is the boneless buffalo garlic wings and a meat pizza. The service is always great, the staff is amazing and always professional.

I’m sorry to say it but if you bought a $5 hot and ready crap pizza from little Caesars and one from here you could not tell the difference between the two… ☹️And I was SOO hoping to find a great pizza spot
Asked for wings Xtra crispy and hot BBQ. They were not crispy(maybe bc they were to go?) and unfortunately the wing sauce was the highlight of the meal. I was also praying for the blue cheese to blow my socks off and it didn’t.
Most likely wouldn’t order from here again.
PS when did the large pizza become so small?

I gave 5 stars for their wings. I cannot speak to their other food, but the Honey BBQ wings are awesome!!! The place is a family spot, great for coming with lots of people to sit around a table & eat. Not fancy at all. Very chill & laid back. Food comes out fast, just need to make sure you don’t take someone else’s food since they call you by name over a loud speaker when your food is done. If you have a common name, pay attention.

A trader Joe employee recommended this restaurant to us in fort meyers Florida The pizza was excellent!! Service was superb. It was take out but the manager was kind and courteous. We had deluxe pizza and a pepperoni. Highly recommend!

This is the best Il primo. I’ve had food from the one in the cape but these wings are small, well cooked, crunchy and the right amount of kick to it. We got the medium wings. The fries is a bit small for the price but it was hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend this one.
