Fantastic service and a great meal.
Was impressed by the beautiful shrimp not only in size but taste as well.

Positive experience. Had to drive around the block for parking if I recall, or we missed the restaurant driveway or something. It didn’t seem to be easy peasy (totally could have been US). We were seated right away (2ish pm on a Friday). Lots of things on the menu seemed appealing, and I would like to go back for dinner sometime. (I bet their steaks are good given the variety offered.) Old school vibe inside. White tablecloths. They had a patio I would have loved to enjoy, but it was super hot that day. Our server was pleasant and proactively brought water and soda refills, checked on us, etc. The warm sourdough bread and butter laid before us was so good we asked for seconds. I enjoyed the Western burger (whatever it’s called there): bacon, cheese, fried onion strings, and (I think) BBQ sauce. Grilled brioche bun. Sweet potato fries were crispy and not overdone. Their ranch dressing for dipping was nummy, too. The Ceasar salad (with chicken) was a nice size, and there was a bit of lettuce still in the bowl when we were done because we couldn’t eat it all. Croutons tasted homemade. We were tempted to order dessert but were so full from lunch there just wasn’t room. The carrot cake and key lime pie caught my eye. Next time!

Our server Lisa was AMAZING!!! Food was delicious. Drinks were strong but not overwhelming. Had the Tres Tacos, Turkey Club, peanut slaw, Old Fashioned, Single Barrel Jack Daniels NEAT, espresso martini, Vodka sprite splash of cranberry. I’ll have to try more next time. Lisa checked on us regularly throughout our visit. She made suggestions based on our feedback. AMAZING. Clean restroom. Friendly & helpful staff!!! 5 Stars

We had a fantastic dining experience at The Daily Grill on El Paseo in Palm Desert! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — perfect for both a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner out. The menu offers a terrific variety of classic American favorites with a modern twist, and you can really taste the quality in every dish thanks to their seasonal, scratch-kitchen approach.

We especially loved how flavorful and comforting the dishes were — the Chicken Pot Pie and Loaded Mac & Cheese were standout favorites, and the innovative options like Ahi Tuna Sashimi added a nice contemporary touch.
Service was attentive and friendly, and the happy hour drinks and appetizers made the experience even more enjoyable. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, it’s a great spot for brunch, lunch, dinner, or just drinks with friends. I’d definitely recommend The Daily Grill for anyone looking for delicious American fare in a welcoming and stylish setting on El Paseo!

Loved my meatloaf. The sides were very good too. The rest of our party loved their meals too. Complimentary warm sourdough bread was a nice touch too. I tried the lemonade and it was great. Our server Peter was awesome. Prices were very reasonable. Park in the back!

Ate at an off-time in between lunch and dinner, so seated immediately. Service was good.

The incredible Catalina Sanddab, with plump grilled asparagus and sweet corn ravioli, was the exceptional star of the meal. Delicious and well balanced flavors.

Cobb salad was good. Fresh squeezed lemonade was yummy.

The Daily Grill is located at a perfect spot: at the beginning of El Paseo shopping district, which means you get both a great view of the street and a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff are very friendly and nice. And they ensure that your visit goes absolutely as well as it could. The restaurant offers a great variety of selections, from salads to burgers and other types of food. The food items we ordered were all wonderful; we were very satisfied. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would have, especially with the amazing service the staff offer. I strongly recommend this restaurant (and make sure to make a reservation beforehand!).

Maybe they were understaffed, rushing, never came back for water – maybe relying on waiters instead of using busing staff (?). Ambience is okay, but with so many other options nearby- your better off going to a place with great food. Food here is subpar; awful sweet potato fries, cold and limp- as if they were frozen and thawed, hardly salted and then served. Inedible. The other plates we had, just not good. Friendly enough staff, but for the menu price, food should be better than what it is, truly. It’s too bad, cause a couple of years ago this place was decent.

We went last Monday. We loved the food! Always sooooo delicious. However my criticism goes to the front end being a little disorganized when seating. Also our waitress didn’t come to bring us water or take drink orders until I had to ask the hostess where or who was our waitress.

Been here a few times and today was just as consistent as past visits. Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Menu was packed with great options for a nice-casual lunch. Loved the variety of smart and healthy food choices available. Our meals were presented beautifully and the price was pretty much what it should be for such a high level of quality and location. Well done!
