Best dining experience I’ve had in a year! The level of service that we received was superb. We had pizza, lasagna, chicken parm and their homemade tiramisu. I really don’t have words to describe the authentic atmosphere and service we received. The food was awesome and we will for sure be back soon…with friends!

We waited four years to come back to Porto-Fino—and it was absolutely worth it. From the first bite, it was like no time had passed. The flavors, the warmth, the authenticity… this place still delivers some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had.

The dishes are rich, comforting, and made with real care. You can taste the tradition in every forkful—from the perfectly layered lasagna to the tender veal and homemade sauces that bring everything together. The garlic knots and house dressing alone are worth the visit.

Service was just as memorable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—like coming home to a place that remembers you. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, with that old-school charm that makes you want to linger a little longer.

After four years, Porto-Fino reminded us why it’s a favorite. If you’re craving true Italian comfort food with heart and heritage, this is the spot. We won’t wait that long again. ❤️

5 Stars – Authentic Italian Comfort with Heart and Flavor

Porto-Fino Restaurant is a true Daytona Beach gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that feels like stepping into a family kitchen in Italy. The signed photos and memorabilia lining the walls add a personal touch that makes the experience even more special.

The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish is rich with flavor and clearly made with care—from the veal Scoloppini and stuffed shells to the perfectly crisp pepperoni pizza. The homemade bread and house dressing are standouts, and the Chicken Parmigiana is a must-try. Portions are generous, and everything arrives hot and fresh.

Service is consistently excellent. The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely kind—making sure every guest feels valued and satisfied. Whether dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is smooth and enjoyable.

Highly recommend Porto-Fino for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine with heart, heritage, and hospitality. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

Really enjoyed this place. Old world Italian charm. No bar (wine and beer only). Authentic decor and the food was great. This was the veal francais. And very reasonable price.

Stopped in planning to just do a pizza. We ended up getting a Greek salad while pizza baked. Salad fresh & tasty, pizza delicious, especially the crust and sauce. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent. Definitely will be back again.

We are just arrived in Daytona Beach from an 18 Hour Dr. for vacation. We drove by Portofino and decided to stop in for dinner. We were not disappointed. Victor, our server was phenomenal. He was very attentive and welcoming. He suggested several different dishes. We started off with salads and bread. I couldn’t get over how good the salad dressing was. Both my kids got the shrimp scampi and I got the eggplant Parmesan. The food was delicious and the portions were hearty. The desserts were extremely tasty. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We felt right at home. This experience really set the tone for the rest of our time in Daytona Beach.

We were only in town for 1 night. Looked on Google maps for a place to go. So happy to have chosen this restaurant. I had the best eggplant parm I have ever eaten. My husband had the veal parm and almost licked his plate clean! Meal came with a nice side salad and a small serving of pasta ( broccoli was another option) My only negative comment would be the food was delivered too quickly.

My fiancé and I went to Porto-Fino restaurant tonight, and the food was ok, nothing fabulous. Although, when we asked our rude waitress why we never received our appetizer shrimp cocktail, she couldn’t admit she just forgot to bring it to us. She actually said the kitchen was very busy, and that we didn’t even get charged for it, so not to worry about it. When I asked to speak to a Manager, he walked over to our table and was also was very rude. He explained it takes a long time to make shrimp cocktail, because it’s a special order… lol.. Wow, I almost laughed at his response, and then he went on to say in a rude way, ‘well do you want it or not?’ The food was good, but definitely not worth the rude treatment we received. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Btw, I also read some other 1 star reviews about the rude treatment from the blonde waitress and the manager/owner. Plus, apparently, some of the 1star reviews took pictures if roaches on the walls.., gross and very unsanitary! Wish I would have known, I would never have had dinner at this restaurant!

Our waitress Cindy was a delight, she had great recommendations on the wine, dinner, and deserts. I think we met the owner too, who we could just sit and talk with for hours if we could. This is a must eat restaurant while staying in Daytona, delicious authentic Italian that’s been here for 45 years. If we see Daytona again, we will see Porto Fino again!

This place is a whole vibe. Old school Italian with amazing food. We loved everything we had: garlic bread, salads, chicken parm, pizza, tiramisu. Wine bottles were a steal. We had the best time joking around with our server and it’s now a must-visit for future trips.
