I had a decent experience overall //The pizza is a bit of a mixed bag—some options are really good, while others are just average and probably not the best choice on the menu.— it’s a great spot for hanging out. The vibe is excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a solid place for a drink and a nice atmosphere (been there on June 2025)

The food is PHENOMENAL!! I ordered the vodka pasta and HIGHLY recommend- it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was so cheesy and flavorful! Although, the service was QUITE SLOW and our waitress didn’t seem too thrilled we were there. Overall, I would recommend, but definetly make reservations & make them for an earlier time than 6:30.

I have eaten here relatively frequently. The food is excellent, and the service is also great. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu, making suggestions, and also offers great wine pairing recommendations. I’m more of a white wine drinker, and I love their Moscato. My favorite go-to dishes are the Chicken Marsala, Lasagna, and if I’m looking for something more laid-back, all their pizzas are wonderful. They also have a great patio of you like sitting outside. I would recommend booking a reservation if your looking at Thursday through the weekend as they are generally pretty busy. But if your looking for a good Italian Resturant with a great feel, I highly recommend Il Pizzaiolo-Warrendale.

Food was AMAZING! So fresh and tasty! Our server was also absolutely incredible, we had a very large party of 16 people and she was so attentive and on top of drink refills, appetizers, everything we asked her for she did immediately and was so nice and friendly. I should’ve asked her for her name but she had long brown hair and was there on 1/8/26. Probably the best service I’ve ever seen in my life. It was my first time there but I will 100% be back multiple times after such a wonderful experience!

I thought the food ( Il ragu) and drinks (espresso and pistachio martini) were very good. I think for an Italian restaurant thats not a huge chain, the food was good. This is a good restaurant for date night.

Went here for dinner for mother law’s birthday. The food was excellent. Had great service from our server Caitlin. I would recommend this to anybody that wants good Italian food? The desserts were awesome also. They ha e gluten free options.

We met our family here for a after Christmas meal. The place was clean and staff was friendly. We had reservations for 2pm (which I figured was lunch) Meatballs were amazing (appetizer) and zucchini sticks were good. Our main meals came and the pasta was very well made. However, the rest of the ingredients were just ok. We received lunch portions ( as we were there at lunch) and I didn’t realize until after we were charged for dinner entrées. Not really pleased with that experience. We live out of state and realized it the next day once back home. I’m highly disappointed in the cost of the food. We won’t be going back next time we are in town.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. It was my first time there and i was quite impressed. We will definitely be back! The food was incredible. We tried 5 or 6 different appetizers-the meatballs are to die for and the zucchini was amazing. The tempura batter was really good. We all had different entrees and they were all delicious! Our waitress Sidney was very kind and very attentive. Vince the manager checked on our table as well to make sure our experience was pleasant. The bartender Caitlin even stopped by our table to check in with us and to suggest different wines. All in all it was a perfect experience. We can wait to tell all our friends about this restaurant and we definitely can’t wait to go back! Kudos to the staff and the incredible chef!!

Il Pizzaiolo is my go-to for authentic Italian. Whether you’re grabbing a Margherita pizza or one of their incredible pasta dishes, you can tell everything is made with care. The patio seating is also a huge plus during the warmer months. Definitely a Wexford staple that everyone should try!
