I got the french onion soup and the elk burger. The French onion soup was great with the amount of cheese, it was a little sweet for my taste(I like things with more of a pepper taste not necessarily spicy, just not sweet) it was well done, the elk burger was almost uncooked close to my perfection(I like it still bleeding) it was a huge portion. I’m not a fan of the fries but I’m picky when it comes to potatoes. As far as service, it took a little longer to place my order than it should have considering it wasn’t that busy at the bar. I like the atmosphere.

This spot sits on familiar ground. Years ago, this was a Fuddruckers location—one of those concepts that was a little ahead of its time and is still missed by a lot of locals. That said, House of Brews American Grill is definitely an improvement.

I’ll be honest: I went in with low expectations. My wife dropped me off while she went shopping, word-of-mouth hadn’t exactly been glowing, and it was freezing outside. I figured I’d just kill some time.

Glad I was wrong.

The beer selection is huge—not just filler taps, but a lineup that actually makes you stop and think. On a cold day, I kept it simple and ordered soup, and it was very, very good. Hot, comforting, and done right.

I walked in expecting not much and walked out pleasantly surprised. Solid food, excellent beer selection, and a place that’s worth giving a fair shot. I’ll be back.

Love this place! Constant menu and drink updates and changes help keep it new. I tried the Hunka Hunka Burn’n Love burger recently, I don’t know how adding peanut butter and banana’s on a burger works, but damn, it does! Elvis was a genius!

We chose House of Brews because it was centrally located between us and friends we wanted to meet. We needed a place that would be casual enough that we could stay for a while without being rushed out especially since the Eagles were playing. We got a high top and they’re were plenty of TV’s for everyone to have a good view.
I was a little disappointed with the beer offerings that night, many IPA’s and fruited sours in addition to the standard beers widely. I like sours but was not in the mood. Ended up with Mich Ultra. Two got cocktails and the third got Heineken.
We ordered soft pretzels and wings to start. Both were fine. For entrees there was pulled pork and onion soup, a couple of cheesesteaks and I got nachos with chicken. The others seemed fine with theirs my only complaint about the nachos was you needed a fork because everything was densely piled. It was hard to pick a single chip out. The taste was fine.
There was a DJ who only played music during commercials of the game. It did increase in volume as the night went on so it made it more difficult to talk.
Danielle, our server, was very attentive throughout.

I’ve been here a handful of times and it hasn’t disappointed. We sat at the bar every time for lunch and the food was great. The burgers are phenomenal and the homemade tater chips are a plus! I had a shrimp Po Boy this last visit and it was awesome. Stop in for a sample/flight of the many craft beers on tap.

Went there to catch up with a friend and it was great. My elk burger with the cowboy toppings and cheesesteak eggrolls with queso were great and his wings were big & crispy!! We both had great food and service.

My experience is ordering takeout through Grubhub, so I can’t comment on the place/atmosphere.

My friend and I ordered a chicken sandwich and a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The order arrived with a fly flying around inside the chicken sandwich container.

Grossed out, we obviously did not eat the sandwich, and were reluctant to eat the salad, but decided the fly was likely an unfortunate fluke of a thing and the salad would probably be fine. Nope. We ended up getting sick a few hours after consuming it.

We wanted to try a new place that had decent reviews. Not ordering again.

You would never know by the rough exterior of the old fuddruckers how amazing this place is inside. It’s a nice quiet bar/restaurant. The staff was so friendly as soon as we walked in, even telling my wife Happy Mother’s Day.

They had plenty of seating, it was clean and had plenty of napkins, ketchup etc on each table. Our waitress was amazing! She made suggestions, she knew about the food and consistently came to check on us.

Our kids got chicken tenders that were large and well cooked. Fries were crispy and the sauces they offer were great!

My wife and I got their wings which were large and tasted great! We got their honey bbq and mild. My wife has really great tasting French onion soup as well.

For our main entrees we both got burgers. They were well cooked and the HOB sauce is amazing! We cannot recommend this place more!

House of Brews continues to be a reliable spot for good food and drinks. Though it’s been a while since our last visit, it used to be a regular stop when we lived nearby, and the recent experience was as consistent as ever. The food is still delicious, with the onion dip chip basket being a must-order item. The beer selection is solid, offering a range of options to suit different tastes. The location is convenient, and the place still looks well-maintained, both inside and out.

The service was excellent, adding to the overall positive experience. However, we do have a couple of suggestions for management. It would be preferable if all beers were served in proper beer glasses, rather than the smaller 12-ounce ones. Additionally, the wine list could use some updates to better complement the food and beer offerings. The monthly specials are a nice touch and provide a bit of variety to the standard menu. Overall, House of Brews remains a dependable choice for a casual night out.

First time visiting. The food was just okay overall. The fries were a bit soggy and the burgers were pretty basic. My grandson didn’t care for the mac and cheese, it was on the dry side. The caramel espresso martini was delicious and definitely a highlight. Our server was fantastic though, great personality and excellent customer service. Prices were a little higher than we expected, and the interior feels more like a bar than a traditional eatery.
