In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. First time at Bill Miller BBQ and went for breakfast. The brisket taco was good and the bacon and egg was ok. Service was great and inside the dinner room felt like 1960, which was nice. I’d come back, but probably for lunch. I did see the pies and they looked amazing.

At 7:07 a.m., I called, wanting to speak with the manager about my order that was messed up yesterday. When someone picked up the phone, I requested to speak with the manager. I waited for just a couple of minutes, then the phone was disconnected. I called back at 7:09 a.m. and spoke with a male manager about last night’s order. I placed an order today for two breakfast sandwiches with some potatoes and was given an orange juice but not the apple pie that I was told I would receive.
Upon receiving my food, I noticed a very horrible smell coming from the outside of the bottle and I noticed some hair attached to it. The smell was so rancid that I had to disinfect the bottle and wash my hands. Upon opening one of my sandwiches, it was completely crushed, as you see in the image below.
At 8:16 a.m. I tried calling the manager to let him know what was going on but nobody was picking up the phone. I stayed on the phone for about 5 minutes and nobody had picked it up.
I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. I was not given what I was told I was going to receive, and the orange juice bottle had a very disgusting smell, which honestly made me think it was someone’s bodily fluids. As you can see in the image below, my sandwich was crushed. I don’t know what kind of crew they’re running in the morning at this particular Bill Miller’s location, but upper management needs to investigate personally.
I am very disappointed because I have never had an issue with this particular Bill Miller’s. Now, there have been a few times they have messed up my order, but this time it seems it was done on purpose.
The manager at the breakfast shift on the date of November 7th, 2025 is named Richardson. He’s the one I had spoke to before I got my food.

So frustrating every time (my fault I keep coming back). Always a wait, staffs not friendly, and food is usually wrong or cold. Today I ordered ONE bean and cheese taco and pretty much a bean taco.

we usually go to this bill millers all the time and have no problems but this issue has happened too many times now. we order potato egg AND CHEESE tacos and they dont even put the cheese inside of the tacos. They simply give us a small container with the cheese and expect us to add it ourselves. The whole reason were ordering it here is for the convenience and so that the cheese can be melted in the tacos by the time we eat them. Last time we mentioned it they said it makes it “ easier “ for them. If you work in food service then do your job. It’s not that hard. This is the only bill millers I’ve ever had this issue with.

They can never get it together here no matter how much they try and switch managers. What is the point of having an option to order through the app if you’re not going to let customers pick up through the drive through. It doesn’t make any sense but I’ve come to the conclusion that this company caters to themselves rather than the customer. The girl on the speaker on Sunday around 5pm sounds like the girl that sings the “San Antonio” song. They always forget things here at this location in particular. I definitely understand how this company was sued because they don’t care about their customers whatsoever.

This location SUCKS!!!! I ordered the #1 for lunch took longer than usual to receive then on top of that they brisket was all dry and crunchy the French fries were all soggy soaked in grease!!!! This place SUCKS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, GAS OR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE THIS RESTAURANT ON DE ZA VALLA SUCKS!!!!! I was in uniform and the service was TRASH!!!!!

Took 25 minutes to get six tacos that they messed up the order anyway. The brisket tacos compared to other bill millers was definitely different. Great breakfast! I love the corn tortilla breakfast tacos. My personal favorite is the potato/ egg but all of them are delicious. Their online ordering is easy and fast. The Taco Breakfast Box is a great deal if you’re trying to feed your whole family. Three large pancakes are under $5. Highly recommend.
