Use to get the big wings for a good price. Now they have went with a smaller wing ( about the size you get from your local pizza shop) for a little more price wise. It’s disappointing to see this change. If Hooters care they will go back to the larger wings they have always carried.
Service was excellent as usual and the game is always on. And as usual it’s clean!
I recently visited this Hooters and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
Food & Menu:
The menu options have decreased quite a bit from what they used to be, and there are no longer any lunch specials. The food itself was average.
Service & Billing Issues:
Our server, Lucy, was friendly for most of the visit, but the experience went downhill when it came time to review our checks.
My friend ordered wings, and Lucy automatically brought two dipping sauces without being asked. We were surprised to see an extra charge for both sauces on the bill. When we questioned it, she said it was “policy,” even though we hadn’t requested extra sauce. She removed the item after aggressively showing her discomfort and constant remarks about her always serving extra and nobody else complaining about the fee.
I ordered a grilled cheese and asked to substitute fries for a side Caesar salad. On the bill, I was charged for the full entrée and a full-size salad. When I asked Lucy for clarity, she got defensive said it was due to “food costs” and made some unnecessary comments about “customers stealing food from my company.”
I asked if I could at least receive the side item that normally comes with the grilled cheese (since I had paid for it), but she refused. She did speak with the manager, but rather than coming out to discuss it, the manager stayed in the back office — which was disappointing, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy.
Overall:
The lack of clear communication, defensiveness when we raised questions, and refusal to resolve simple billing concerns left a bad impression. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback: clearer policies, better communication, and a manager who is visible and willing to resolve issues would go a long way toward improving the guest experience.
Great service and food every time!
To busy in bathroom getting high.
Owner says sorry we missed the mark.
You didn’t miss the mark because you never took the shot.
I’d advise being there in person to fix the issue rather than give me a generic I’m sorry.
