Good is always good. The AI ordering is impossible, I had to ask for a human to take my order. I tried to order online and it would not go through, I tried ordering my bundle online and it was 15.00 more. I tried one more time to place online and it went through. I walked into to pick up my order and waited about 5 minutes before somebody came and greeted me, she was a bit rude, then the manger came up and asked if I had an online and I told him yes. He looked on the screen and it wasn’t there, then the girl said oh let me release it for her so you can get it ready. Not too happy with the service.

Great store in the area of Montebello. The atmosphere between workers is absolutely amazing. The girl at the cashier with excellent vibe, eager to help you to choose the right meal for you, or your family. I recommend this location for an delicious spicy fried chicken, and hands up for the chick at the cashier. Hopefully the management notice her hard work. The only location in Montebello, fast service in this store. Almost everything on point but, just an advice for the cashier; “YOU FORGOT THE HONEY”, every single time.

I know she’s a Latina but she’s the one who looks a little Middle Eastern. She needs to keep her personal life out of work, take the day off, or find a new place desperate enough to mistakenly hire her.
Mac & cheese is amazing!

The coleslaw is great!
The butter biscuits are good!
I hate when all the chicken tenders are small pieces 🙁
Make sure to check your large sides, sometimes they will give a medium serving size, which isn’t a menu option.
I miss the half circle table near the register. It gave the place a very premium feel. Now it feels like another soulless fastfood place.

I paid $15 for Ghost Pepper wings, and they were completely dry — drier than the Shara . There was no ghost pepper sauce at all, and the pieces were extremely small, more like scraps than actual wings.

Be warned..Do not use their app. I was charged for a. 30 dollar + meal and this location said they never received it and had no history of my order. I was still charged had no food and had to take it up with customer service. They didn’t even offer a refund just a measly meal voucher. Popeyes has gone down hill in customer service

Surprise surprise, this place still disappoints. Even the specialty things are NOWHERE NEAR what they should be. The new Rip’n’ chicken i got its just a tender with 3 straw like strips at the top.

Service has gotten bad here, not sure if it’s management or just the team working there, but it’s not good at all. The day I walked in there were 3 orders handed out wrong just in the couple minutes I was waiting in line. I went to get the mild strips combo, I was told it would be 3 minutes before they had the mild, half hour later they still didn’t even put any mild strips to cook. Even the coleslaw has changed, it’s being made with sweet relish to sweeten it up. Would rather get KFC or Pollo Loco next time.

I have a bad buying experience at his house tonight. I walk in the store at 8:33 pm and I order the five dollar shrimp box. The guy told me I need wait 30 minutes. I say ok I don’t want it. And I go to dive way to order the box. Just spend 1 minutes get the box. ??? Why. So funny.

I just killed this scrumptious Popeyes Chicken sandwich. A spicy one I might add. I must say it was quite the sandwich. I had the blackened Chicken sandwich at the Popeyes on Washington and honestly that thang was WHACK. It was about 60% size of a regular portion of a chicken breast. Ridiculous. I had to get my fix so I pulled up on these foos in Montebello and they did not disappoint. I asked the shorty at the register “Can I get some honey?”

So I stopped by to get their new chicken sandwich. It was a long wait because everyone else was there for the same thing. I waited about 20 min, but I have to say, the sandwich was amazing. Much better than Chick-fil-A. The chicken was crispy and juicy. Once the hype around the sandwich does down, it should get easier to go in to a Popeyes and buy a sandwich without having to wait in line.
