The place is beautiful. It was pretty empty for a Saturday which we thought was strange. The food was amazing! The fried avocados are a must! Southern Comfort tacos were delish. However, the drinks were overpriced and small and served in skinny glasses, maybe 10 ounces, so that was disappointing. I know its Winter Park but the drinks are really the only reason we wouldn’t come back. Its a Mexican restaurant! We want huge margaritas!!

Stopped in for a quick drink & they were so good, I had 2! Thank you to Natasha for making such wonderful cocktails: the Bergamot Orange Margarita (Mi Campo Blanco, Italicus Rosolio Di Bergamotto, agave, lime) & the Elderflower Margarita (Mi Campo Blanco, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, fresh raspberries, agave).

My wife and I visited Cocina 214 in Winter Park for the first time on Jan. 9. 2026, and we were very impressed. The food was excellent, and the service matched the quality of the meal. Our waiter, Cesar, was exceptionally attentive throughout the evening, checking on us regularly without being intrusive. He also caught that my wife’s dish included jalapeños and quickly stepped in to adjust the order when he realized she had missed that detail on the menu, which she really appreciated! I ordered the Viva Mexico plate, which was delicious, well-seasoned, and nicely presented. Excellent sangria, too! Overall, this was a great first experience, and we look forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

Mix feelings about this place, I’ve been here a couple of times and never had a problem. The food is always good and the service too. The drinks are great. This weekend we had a reservation here for 15 people to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately the table we were given was pretty small, probably for about 12 people. We were pretty uncomfortable, our waiter was amazing, he did tried to accommodate us in another table or add another table to our setting but the manager refused both options. Again, food, service, drinks were good but the accommodation wasn’t.

We chose this restaurant for a group reunion and made a reservation for 15 people, expecting to enjoy a nice evening together. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.
Despite our confirmed reservation, we were seated at separate tables that did not fit our group. We politely asked to be moved to a table where all 15 of us could sit together, but the staff refused. We even spoke with the manager, Humberto, who was surprisingly rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to accommodate us, he simply said no.
As customers, we expect at least basic courtesy and an effort to resolve issues, not to be treated as an inconvenience.
To make matters worse, the service was just as bad. Our drinks arrived late and warm, and the food came out very delayed and not at the same time, leaving some of us waiting while others were already eating. For a planned group dinner, this completely ruined the experience.
If we could give this restaurant zero stars, we would. Sadly, it seems they prefer to collect 15 well-deserved 1 star reviews rather than provide proper customer service.
We will definitely not be returning.

Concina 214 has a very unique dining concept. Get seated immediately, receive a glass of water, and then enjoy 15 minutes of staff pretending you’re not there. To make it even better, a party of 4–5 was seated after us and a server greeted them within minutes. So clearly service was happening, just not for our table. We eventually went to the bar to ask if we could order food there. The bartender said yes, kept making drinks, didn’t offer water or a drink, and never came back to take our order. We left hungry, but at least we didn’t have to wait for the check since no one ever took our order.
I would have added pictures but considering all I got was a water, I’m sure everyone can use their imagination.

Great setup. Love the separate bar atmosphere. However, the dining area was well decorated, nicely lit and clean. The food was above average! But those fried avocados were amazing! Good experience. Could have been a 5 star experience but the beer draft machine was down and I had to take a bottle. Hopefully they resolve this glitch before my next visit

I went to this restaurant last Friday with my coworkers, and the experience was honestly terrible. We asked the manager if we could change our table, and he refused without giving us any real explanation. That already started the night off on the wrong foot.
Our server’s attitude made everything worse. She barely checked on us, didn’t care if we needed anything, and made us feel completely ignored the whole time. Super unprofessional.
On top of all that, the food was not good at all. The flavors were off, the dishes felt rushed, and honestly there are way better restaurants in the area that take pride in their service and quality.
Overall, it was a really disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I definitely won’t be going back.
