Guy working had amazing customer service and attitude. Looked like he was all alone in there, but had a smile on his face and a hussle in his step! Props, fast food service isn’t easy, keep it up . Food was hot too much thanks

It’s disappointing to see this location in such poor condition, especially given its prime spot on Highway 101 in Lincoln City a community known for tourism, local pride, and family-friendly experiences. Whether you’re on vacation or stopping by for ice cream after a sporting event, this location ends up being a major letdown.
The building itself is rundown and looks like it’s literally falling apart. The kitchen area, visible from the drive-thru window, appears dirty and barely functional. The interior is consistently unclean, and the driveway is full of potholes. They don’t even accept online rewards or app payments, which is surprising in 2025.
The staff, who seem to be doing their best, often struggle to fulfill basic requests. It raises questions about training, staffing, and overall management. It’s unfortunate, because with even minor upgrades and proper maintenance, this location could bring in significantly more business and leave customers with a much better experience.
Right now, though, it’s without question one of the worst locations in Oregon and it desperately needs a total overhaul. When owners finally happen to make necessary upgrades, I will give credit where credit is due. I look to the day I can support this local Dairy Queen and write a 5 star review. It breaks my heart to write a 1 star review to a business in this community.
I can see this as a restored 1950s style diner with a cleaner kitchen, and better driveway. Rooting for the owners to put some love into this. For them to not see it as a barely functioning investment, but as an investment into the LC community.

Literally pulled up and employees were sitting on the counters bored, and when we ordered a sundae and a blizzard it took them like 10-15 min to get it to the window and we were the only people at the restaurant! It’s crazy wait times, idk maybe that’s the norm for here, but I’m other places it’s a bit faster

They took a while to make the food which was fine because we thought they were coming out fresh. Bacon was not cooked. 1 patty looked like it was yesterday’s patty. It was salty and dark brown. Second patty was light. Its taste was horrible. The other burger had both dark patty’s and bacon wasn’t cooked. I’m not sure what happen.

Today on the 2nd of November 2025 ordered two 8.00 special hamburgers and both the burgers were too cold to melt the cheese also buns were old and hard. But could not go back in and replace them. It’s what you get for a order to go. We only drove away a few blocks. Frys were good. But everything else was discussing. Very very poor food.

The owner has got to know how disgusting this location is. The potholes at the drive through are absolutely outrageous. The food is undercooked and overcooked. No, happy medium, you won’t get a refund. You’ll be greeted by the most rudest workers. I’ve ever encountered the place looks so dirty. Take your business elsewhere. Don’t order from this place. Teach the owner a lesson

Food is always great. Employees are good folks. The parking lot, specifically the drive thru, is horrible. I heard the vehicle in front of me that was already at the window smash their wheel into the curb below the window due to the massive potholes right where you would pull up in order to reach the drive thru window. I didn’t know what it was as I heard it because I was still at the speaker ordering. I found out for myself by having my vehicle fall into one of the potholes and then the curb as I tried to pull up to the window. It ruined my wheel. Fix your potholes!

I went to the drive through at the Lincoln City Dairy Queen. I have to say this is one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had at a Dairy Queen. I ordered a large Health an Oreo Blizzard and I asked that it have half the chocolate syrup and that it be lightly blended. This is not a cheap treat at a whopping $6.49. I was willing to pay this price because, I don’t get it very often and it’s usually loaded. When the cashier handed me my dessert Instead of receiving a thick and crunchy Blizzard I was given one that was over blended, had very little toppings and it didn’t even fill the cup to the brim. I took a couple bites and no crunchy goodness. I waited for the cashier to notice me. I told her that there weren’t enough toppings. She retorted that the proper amount of toppings were added. I said no, I’ve been getting this treat for a long time and it didn’t match what I was used to. This went back and forth a couple of times till she came back with who I assumed was the manager. She told me the same thing and pointed out that she had made it herself. I asked to have more toppings or my money back. I was deny a refund and told that they could put more toppings for an extra charge. I was furious and refused to pay more. I left as a very unhappy customer, not to return anytime soon!

Quality of customer service is poor. The cashier wasn’t knowledgeable on menu items. Food was not heated up. The facilities and indoor dining are run down. Ordered a blizzard, and it was an inch of space from the top. Management needs to improve overall training for the team. Unable to scan for reward points as scanners were broken. Team member said, “Owner does not want to fix.”

Service was a bit rough. Not rude, but definitely not welcoming or friendly.
The restaurant had a weird layout. The bathroom was outside around the back of the building and required a key.
The food was cooked to death. The chicken strips were extremely dry and the hotdog bland.
