Our eatery is unhurried…come and relax A visit to Padlangs must be seen as an outing…a moment in time to spend time with the people at your table. Put down your phone…we do not have wi-fi…chat to each other. We are living a slow life in our beautiful Valley and we would like you to slacken life’s speed, sit back and take it easy for a while. Padlangs is the kind of place that makes you slow down and savour where you are. Surrounded by lush gardens and a view that stretches across the valley, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed countryside meal. The staff are warm and welcoming , making you feel right at home
The burgers are stacked with flavour, and the chicken schnitzel is crisp, tender, and absolutely delicious. A visit to Patensie wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Padlangs.

Padlangs is an excellent place for a daytrip from Jeffreys Bay of even Port Elisabeth. Relax on the porch or the garden with a view over the Gamtoos valley, let the children play, and enjoy the food. The staff is professional and you find nice stuff in the little store four yourself or as gifts (we found excellent Gin). Don’t forget to take a photo on the chair!

Very relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful garden setting eatery. The food is good and the prices very fair. The service is great from very friendly waiters. The only negative was the bill, when we had to pay R6 for a tablespoon of sweet chilli sauce, because there were not a selection of sauces on the table.

Picture perfect. Took a drive from PE for lunch, and boy, was it worth it! Thought I was just going for lunch to get away before the December break, and it felt like I was already on holiday. The chicken schnitzel was amazing think it’s southern chicken crumb Idk but I’ve never had a schnitzel this good was nostalgic, and the chips didn’t even want to put salt or sauce you could taste the potato for what potato should taste like and the salad took me to garden vibes it was all so fresh and doesn’t taste like store bought, it all tasted organic grown. I didn’t want to leave. Staff super friendly and helpful and the beer was ice cold. Fur baby enjoyed herself. Will definitely be back!!! Wow!!!! What a discovery this turned out to be. The restaurant is easy to find on the way to the Kouga Dam and Baviaanskloof. They were extremely busy, and yet our service was on point, and the food orders came back very quickly and was excellent. By the way, you better go there on empty; the portions are mega size…..

We drove all the way from PE and it was definitely worth it. Beautiful restaurant & the shop oh the shop and all it’s goodies (makes U wanne buy a little bit of everything) . We had thee warmest welcome by thee most friendly waitrons on duty (almal het n lekker vibe). Compliments to the chef the food was absolutely delish. Despite the cool weather our Lil rascal enjoyed the play area. Staff to keep up the good work, we’ll definitely visit soon again. Cheers to good vibes

Child friendly – lots of space to play, even water fountains to play in! Dog friendly -Gracie was welcome and loved it too!
