Incredible experience at Max’s Restaurant! The Filipino food is authentic and delicious, the dishes are a true representation of the culture and tradition of the Philippines. We had lunch with my cousins and their son, and it was a pleasure sharing this experience with them, especially since my cousin is Filipino and his wife is Portuguese, which made the meal even more special. The waiter was very kind and attentive, made our dinner even more special with his excellent service and recommendations. The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back and recommend it to all Filipino food lovers!

Valet parking only. On a Monday night, the wait was short, which was a plus, but unfortunately the food was a big letdown.
The pancit canton was rubbery and tasted overcooked. The pork sisig was worse, it had an oddly sour flavor, like chopped pork soaked in vinegar. It didn’t taste right at all.
I’m not picky with food, but this was hard to finish. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This is a great place to enjoy a variety of Filipino dishes. The restaurant can also accommodate large parties. Their fried chicken never disappoints—always crispy and delicious!

Ramir helped religiously on ensuring I was assisted and cared for in my experience.
Chicken Adobo did not feel authentic and I was not a fan of the full dish. From flavor to texture to quality of chicken. The Milkfish was my most favorite. That was crispy, flavorful and presented with great colors. Garlic fried rice was not the best I’ve had. I would say that the garlic was diced and not rich in flavor. I was to assume full garlic cloves smashed and charred. Bringing out the flavors and also the visuals. Crabmeat fried rice is not as good as expected either. I would say both rice options were a solid 5 out of 5 for me. The Milkfish was a great 9.5 (not sure about the pickled garnish)
I was hoping to have an amazing time here since this restaurant name is a very popular and liked Filipino Restaurant. It was very promising to begin with.

The sinigang was good and big portion. The pancit was so salty it was difficult to eat. It was also 95% noodle with very little protein and vegetables. The beef dish was also too salty. I grew up with Filipinos and been to Philippines several times and never had such salty food.

When I come here, I feel like I’m at home, not just because of all the Filipinos around me, but because it literally FEELS like home. Both my parents are gone, and when I come here, the food delicious, the service and kindness makes me feel so welcomed, and yes, the people remind me of my parents when my siblings and I were still living at home eating dinner together. If you want the authenticity of the Philippines, come here. They’re wonderful and the food??? Wow, delicious! The cost? Very well priced.

Came here on a referral from a friend. We came in a group, were seated and honestly. The customer service at the counter was great! But when we got to our table the waiters were not so great. They seemed to be annoyed helping us. Anyways on to the food. I was told their fried chicken was the star of their menu. Not! No flavor and blah. Tried all of the other dishes and meh. I drove all the way from Carson to eat at a place that was disappointing. I would have let the bad service at the table pass if the food was good but it wasn’t. Don’t waste your time.

This place is known for their Max’s Fried Chicken it their classic Sarap-to-the-Bones Fried Chicken made with a unique blend of spices and golden fried to perfection. They suggest to dip it in its trademark blend of banana ketchup, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce and their not kidding it taste great with the mixture. It give you a sweet and spicy clover to the chicken. The ski was nice and crispy and the chicken was juicy and tender inside. It was really fried to perfection. I got their whole chicken and it was enough to fill me up. I also got their Calamansi juice, which is like a sweet lime juice drink, nice and refreshing. Highly recommend the chicken

This is a great Filipino restaurant known for its chicken. The shrimp pancit was really good, but needed more shrimp. Pork chopsuey was good, maybe a bit salty. We were part of a larger group, 40+ advanced reservation. They accommodated us in an area off the main floor, but it was solely for us; not sure why, it wasn’t busy or crowded, and the other small groups/families seated in the vicinity probably would have appreciated seating away from our group as the group was very loud. The service was excellent; always checking back, clearing dishes, bringing specialty condiments, and refilling drinks.
