I visited El Rancho Tapatio and had the Menudo soup, a traditional Mexican beef stomach soup and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The portion was generous and came with all the classic garnishes.
My server was Brianna and she was friendly, attentive, and helpful. She made the experience even better with her warm personality and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Mexican comfort food.

*Very clean restaurant.
*Super friendly staff.
*Chips and salsa were delicious.
*Some of the best tasting refined beans I’ve had and loved the veggies in the rice.
*Price and portion sizes were good.
*There is limited parking so if it’s busy, I could imagine there being an issue finding a parking space.
-Only downside was the temperature of the food. Our rice and chicken chimichanga were hot but the beans, chicken fajita and cheese dip enchilada were warm at best. The flavors were there but wished the temperature of the food was better (which is the only reason for the dropped star).
*Still very much worth a visit if you’re looking for some really good Mexican food and friendly staff.

May be the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. They had a mariachi band roaming the restaurant. That really added to the atmosphere. And the restaurant is quite large. Very busy on a Friday night, but was able to get a table for 6 right away. Delicious!

I visited your restaurant on 08/13/2025 and ordered a frozen margarita. I took a lick of my sugar rim when my tongue felt like a mosquito bite , Luckily i didn’t bleed. However I had already finished the drink before I noticed that the glass was cracked. This raises a serious concern that I may have swallowed small glass fragments without realizing it.
While I have not yet developed symptoms, I am monitoring for any issues and may seek medical attention. If medical evaluation becomes necessary, I will provide documentation and may request reimbursement for any related expenses.
I spoke to the waitress who seemed bothered that i mentioned it. I paid our bill and left. This needs to be addressed to prevent potential harm to other guests. Please let me know how you plan to handle this situation and ensure that drink-ware is safe for future customers.

Staffs were very friendly. The atmosphere was nice as well. I was in this restaurant once before my last visit. In the second time the quality was a little bit below than I expected.

Food was absolutely delicious and looked gorgeous. Server was not exactly rude per say, but she did rush me and my party of people. The atmosphere was amazing, wheelchair accesible entry, both tables and booths, and in general good vibes. Do NOT recommend eating on fridays, mariachi band is a bit loud and it gets jam packed inside. Wednesdays are discount days for college students, and Thursdays are happy hour all day!

We came to this restaurant because it had good reviews the service was amazing our server was called Misael, he had the best recommendations, was able to help us with the perfect meal for my little one and was so sweet to my parents. It is not very day you have such a nice server when you are on a trip in a place you have never been to. The food was amazing it didn’t take long you have to come to this restaurant. Food and service from beginning to end was excellent!!!

Have been going here intermittently for years. Food is a hit or miss. This time a big MISS. Taco salad had ground beef that tasted VERY old & confirmed by another at the table. Her enchiladas were supposed to be shredded beef, but got ground. The taco shell was over cooked & again, tasted like old oil. There was not much sauce over the enchiladas & more had to be requested….

Food is always incredible! The best Mexican restaurant in Lexington. A great experience for lunch dates, family meals or even a date night. Had the pleasure of Lalo serving us and he was more than a gentleman. Fast service, and hot food! Will always recommend to my family and friends for a memorable meal.

But what really makes the experience special is the service. Carolina is absolutely the best! She’s friendly, attentive, and always makes sure everything is perfect. If you go, definitely ask for Carolina — she’ll make you feel right at home!
