Delightful refuge from the crowds just a few steps off the beaten track in a pretty square. Excellent home-made light dishes, cakes, wine, coffee and soft drinks. Ace salads and bruschetta. Perfect pit-stop with charming service. So much nicer than the main street tourist traps – worth seekung out!

Located in a quiet square in the heart of Ortigia, this tucked away little cafe is the perfect place for a quiet breakfast or brunch if looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Siracusa. Atmosphere is splendid and one could genuinely spend the entire day in this little square if possible. Outside seating only but little cute blankets provided in case it’s a bit chilly. The cafe only has 2 staff members…the owner Irma who makes all the food and one front of house staff. Despite there only being 2 people the service was still excellent. The menu is simple but really good and the food made by Irma is delicious and definitely made with care and love. Loved the fact that we could get a big mug of cappuccino.

Such a special cafe with delicious food and amazing values! Absolutely wish I could eat my way through Irma’s entire menu. Everything is fresh, real and clearly made with love. The waitress is the sweetest and our overall experience was incredible. Best cappuccino with almond I’ve ever had!

Loved this idyllic and charming, quirky little breakfast spot! Absolutely perfect spot for breakfast in a quiet and scenic square. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved the granita with bread, and the cakes and hot chocolate were both delicious! This was the absolute ideal start to our morning. If we had stumbled on it sooner in our trip we would have come back every day! A perfect neighborhood gem!

Gorgeous home made food. We had the pumpkin soup and ham toasted sandwich and both was delicious. Soup comes with lots of toasted bread and parmesan cheese. Perfect amount of food, great price. Quiet area, outdoor seating. They also had blankets for if you get cold.

Excellent spot for breakfast! So happy we found it, and came here a few times during the visit to Syracuse.

The menu offers some traditional and more international items which is refreshing if you’re looking for something different. Great coffee too!

Mortadella sandwich was incredible, highly recommend.

Service is friendly, on the slower side as there’s only two girls working. There seems to be a lot of rules in this place haha so read up on that and maybe skip if you have allergies or intolerances.

Loved this place! The two ladies who run the restaurant are amazing and so health conscious. We had a delicious salad and sandwich and finished everything off with a fruit bowl and homemade apple cinnamon cake. Left feeling great! Would love to come back!

We’ve been here every day since we got to ortigia. Is fully run by the owner Irma and a waiter. Everything is homemade and fresh. It feels like a movie, even the menu id hand written. I love this place, I would come back every day if I could. About the food, the Big cappuccino is really big, you can share it without a problem. The pancakes and the piadina are outstanding. Congratulations to Irma for this oasis for not only fresh food but also for the amazing environment. We love it! I hope in a few years we can come back
