We stopped by for lunch and had the best hamburgers that we have ever eaten. The french fries were unbelievable and were perfectly cooked. The hamburgers were very flavorful. The atmosphere was incredible and the wait staff did an amazing job. Joseph, the owner, came out and spoke with us, and we told him that these were the best hamburgers we ever had. If you love hamburgers, then this is a destination location for you. The food is that good! You will not be disappointed!!!

The ginger-headed bartender dude behind the bar was condescending, rude, and aggressive. The bartender is either selectively choosing who to provide good customer service to or he doesn’t understand what “customer service” entails. The bartender is obviously upset that he’s working the pm shift on December 30th with no customers in the restaurant but me. One star for food the other star for cute waitress. The bartender ruined my experience in 5 seconds flat.

The vibes in this restaurant were great, drinks were good, servers were attentive. We ordered the Mac and cheese as well as the buffalo cauliflower. The portions were really big so that was good. We did not leave feeling hungry. The Mac and cheese was lacking in flavor… for some reason… I feel like there wasn’t enough cheese. It was very garlicky and buttery. Maybe that was their intention but it lacked in cheese flavor.

Cute restaurant located downtown. Took my son and we both had burgers – cooked perfectly, fries were crisp and tasty. I opted for the mango margarita. I’m not a big drinker but it was good, I’d probably opt to omit the salt next time. Wing app was good, we had the general tso flavor.

I think this is the best grilled cheese I have ever eaten! My first time at Prime 16. Cool cozy spot smack in the center of New Haven. Fun and interesting menu. Great service. I had the plantains appetizer and the Provence Grilled Cheese. That grilled cheese combination of flavors was out of this world! Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

An amazing experience start to finish! Chef and owner Joseph Hamboussi is a consummate professional who welcomes patrons to his restaurant as if inviting them to his home. The Belgium Bierhaus Burger stands out as one of the most memorable burgers I’ve ever had, cooked to juicy perfection. The Belgian Waffle and Fried Chicken starter could have been a whole meal in itself. I was initially skeptical of the taste pairing for that dish but was won over bite after delicious bite. Our only regret: No room for dessert! But we’ll be back.
