We visited about a month ago, and brought our dog, Ollie with us. We did have to wait for a table, but it was worth it! It was my husband’s birthday, and it fell on Labor Day weekend.
The food was delicious. Just the right proportions for both of us. I had the salmon with the mashed potatoes and butternut squash, my husband opted for the fish and chips and his favorite beer, Moosehead. We definitely will be back again with Ollie. He loves when we find restaurants that are dog friendly. He was a fan of the food as well!

I’m torn about this review. They skipped us on the table wait list which sucked. I’m trying to be understanding as I know they were short staffed and struggling to keep up but I wasn’t happy to be left literally outside in the cold while they called others that arrived after us and found the sheet with our name in the trash bin under the hostess station.
All that said, the waitress was busting her patooty and did a great job and the food was very good and the beer cold.
My wife had salmon and I had a burger (I was worried about anything not standard given how they seemed to be struggling to keep up). It was one of the better burgers I have had in a while.
The bar was lively and the bartender was on her game.

Lively little pub with a lovely outdoor seating space. My husband and I both ordered the fish and chips. I chose to substitute a baked potato and butternut squash for the chips. The food was great. Fish was crispy outside and moist and flaky inside. I don’t know if they always have live music, but they did when we were there, which added to the experience. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arrived at 8:36 PM with a group of six adults and two children, expecting to have dinner since the restaurant was listed as open until 10 PM. However, we were told that the kitchen was closing at 9 PM and they would not be able to serve us. I mentioned that we were happy to keep our order simple and quick, and the host went to check with the kitchen, but they still declined.
When I asked if there was anywhere else in town that might still be serving food, I was told that nothing else was open. It was frustrating to be turned away knowing we had limited options, and especially disappointing to be left scrambling to find dinner for our family. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and we won’t be returning.

The service was friendly. Ordered the 8oz. Steak tips which were toughted as a Peobody Mass staple on the menu. I was thinking Champions pub in Peobody. What a joke! I paid $30 for 4 pieces of steak that were the size of a walnut. In what planet are those steak tips!?!?! Not to mention the minute rice microwavable Jasmin rice I was served as a side. Will not ever go back!

Stress free moose??? More like, make my Bp go up moose. Yes, my food was very good, and everyone else did like their food. It was hot and flavorful. But the service is the thing that ruined the whole experience. Idk if this was just a bad night or what. But honestly it felt like we were specifically targeted to not be treated well. We watched as our waitress was running back and forth to other tables helping them, while we sat wait for drink for over 20 mins, even after our appetizer came out. After that it was like trying to flag down a boat to get her to grab a refill for us, then when she did, she forgot one of the refills for another 5-8 mins. Like I said maybe this is a one time thing and the rest of the time it is great, but this night was a pretty rough experience.

Friendly staff, makes you feel like part of a family. The burgers are very juicy and cooked perfectly, with the buns grilled just enough to be crunchy and soft. Spinach and artichoke dip was to die for, and the hot chocolate is a personal favorite of mine.

Great place! Laid back atmosphere and a friendly staff. Best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Extremely good French fries, and best coleslaw I’ve had since the last time I was at my mom’s house in NC. Best by far that I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The nachos were good too.
