We were in Brandon and wanted to have lunch, so we searched around our area and found Chicken and Taco Loco, a food truck with good reviews.
We visited the restaurant and easily found parking in the lot. After browsing the menu, we ordered Chicken Tacos for ourselves and Rice and Chicken for our toddler.
We got our food order in just 10 minutes, and the chicken tacos were great! They were fulfilling, satisfying, and had a perfect chicken flavor. Our toddler also loved the combination of chicken and rice for lunch – he seemed very happy with it.
The food was delicious, flavorful and a great place to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine.

Outdoor food BUS. 1st time there and had steak Gordito and some steak tacos. All was good but the Gordito was amazing. They have the nice big fluffy crust taco shell salad that’s so hard to find! That will be my next visit meal. It will be worth an 1hr drive. In the parking lot of Lighthouse Ministries in Brandon ❤️❤️.
They have plenty of outdoor seating if you want to eat it there. Some with umbrellas. Enjoy!!!

This is definitely one of my favorites in the area for tacos. I will say though, they can be extremely inconsistent at times. This one for the review wasn’t the best I’ve had nor the worst. The chicken was on the dry side, probably overcooked. The flavors were on point thought and the extras that I get were on point. Their green is a little spicer than most so go easy on it to begin with. If you haven’t had this one yet then you should come check it out!

I finally got around to trying this place even though I drive by it all the time. I wish I had sooner. I had the picadillo chimichanga and it was really good! I’ll be back to try more stuff, for sure.

Delicious food and not pricey at all. Steak and Chorizo tacos were definitely my favorites, especially with their salsa verde.
Plenty of other Hispanic dishes here too, but I’m just always craving their tacos and haven’t gotten anything else!

Amazing tacos! Really delicious and inexpensive! Hit the spot just right. Got myself some El Pastor tacos which were seasoned nice and juicy. Comes with 2 types of salsa and they were mild in taste but perfect on the tacos. Definitely taste fresh and delicious! Would 10/5 come back here

Amazing. Green sauce is great (may have spice and avocado, idk it’s a secret sauce, only the boss knows). Everything on their menu is good, except I think esquite(?)/corn in a cup is an acquired taste and I personally dont enjoy/at all recommend it if it’s not something you grew up with, but it’s a classic and very authentic, so I’m glad it’s on the menu. As someone who doesn’t like corn in a cup though, this is one of the better ones. Still, I don’t think it’s something most non-Mexicans or perhaps even mexicans will like.
Enough of that though, everything on the menu is delicious and the portions are good. Much rather eat here than at a sit-in restaurant and pay a tip.
