This place would make a great place to have a “gangster” or “speak easy” party or night. The best part of the whole experience was when the owner, Richard Savarino, gave us a tour of the place and told us some of the history of the building and how the restaurant came into existence.
Great little place on US12 in Jonesville MI. The building was built in 1852 and became Rosalies Roadhouse in 1986. This place has a history of the halfway point between Chicago and Detroit and was used as a meeting spot for the mob leaders before they would go to their lake houses, the upstairs was a brothel at one time. The restaurant was started by the owners mother, who will be 80 soon. The atmosphere is quaint with rustic feel. The food is impressive and the service is really great. Rosalies was named a Yuegling distributor. This is a place that offers a good selection and great atmosphere.

Really good burger and pretzel. Beer cheese is really good. Everything should really be like 4 dollars cheaper because its expensive, more than I was comfortable with. More of a special occasion and treat yourself for a day place because I could never afford that often. The atmosphere was cute as heck, I love the vibes there inside and out but the building outside is SUPER cute. The waitress was nice.

Fun little place to eat! Cute decor, clean bathrooms; we ate outside so the highway made it a little noisy and dusty as we expected it would. The food was delicious and plentiful. The servers were kind and apologetic because it seemed the kitchen was running a little slow. Great choices for beer! It’s cash or check only, which we actually prefer! I would definitely eat here again!

This place is awesome. Nice atmosphere, great service and the owner is pretty cool and was here making sure all was right. Set outside, you won’t be disappointed I promise. Never had a bad meal. Bring cash they don’t accept credit or debit cards.

Awesome little place that is truly one of a kind! Food is delicious, and the service was amazing. The burgers are real hand-pressed and one of a kind. The Long Island Iced Teas are very good but watch out they are also very large! If you don’t finish it, they will pack it up so you can take it home. Definitely recommend trying this place! We are sad that we just now found it!

Cash only quaint bar & grill known for Italian food options. Plan to spend most of the evening there as they are a very busy restaurant with what looked like a very small kitchen. It was a Wonderful experience. We will be back. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We each try a different flavor of the famous Long Island iced tea and they were delicious and a enormous. Highly recommend those to sip on while you wait for your food because you may wait a bit . So sit back and enjoy your cocktails maybe order an appetizer . We each had a burger and fries which were outstanding. We sat outside and that was a neat experience after sunset with the patio lights.

I did not eat inside, I was passing through this area and ordered take out and it was incredible. Place was very unique looking and had a cool atmosphere. I will most definitely be back here next time I am even near Jonesville. The pesto pizza was so good I nearly just drove back there for another pizza for the road lol. My family had an amazing experience visiting Rosalie’s Roadhouse. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. This restaurant experience is one that brings everything great about the community to bear. Our server Christy is a true professional and cared about our experience, she recommend great options and compliments to the entrées we ordered. Christy could tell the speaker near our table was a little too loud, she went in and lowered the volume. The menu changes based on the needs of the community it serves. We were there during college move in so in order to serve the most people the menu was streamlined. This is a restaurant that serves its community and responds to its patrons. This restaurant is not a generic chain experience, this is a place that gives you a homey local feel and true character.

The food was good and service was great. I had a beer cheese burger and it was amazing. My husband got some kind of chicken sandwich and the chicken was tiny…not worth what he paid. We also got the beer cheese and pretzel. It was very good but they need to offer more cheese with it. The restaurant is adorable and in a great spot. We will definitely visit again.

I think this my 3rd time here … Food is always fantastic. Servers are all extremely pleasant and today Kaitlin provided over the top service on accommodating our special needs. The place is clean and the volume of the upbeat music was perfect… Did not make it difficult to have a conversation.
