Just had a quick, late lunch at the Green Ginger in Tilton. We had shrimp and vegetable Yuki udon noodles and Szechuan beef.

The value here is really the draw. I have been to Green Ginger enough times now that I have worked my way through a lot of the lunch specials. Kung pao chicken, beef and broccoli, a few others. They are all solid and generous. That is why this place keeps ending up in our rotation when we are in Tilton around lunchtime.
That said, the ginger stir fried chicken with green beans stands above the rest. It is easily my favorite thing on the menu and the one I come back to most often. They do not treat ginger like a background note here. You get real, chunky pieces mixed throughout the dish, giving it a sharp warmth that cuts through the sauce. The chicken stays tender, the green beans still have some snap, and the whole thing avoids that overly sweet.
The hot and sour soup is also worth ordering. It has a nice tang and a little heat. I still have not tried the beef teriyaki, but it keeps catching my eye when plates pass by, glossy and piled high.
Service is great, friendly and efficient. For the price and consistency, it is hard to complain.

Sashimi is tasty. Bento box is great, comes with sushi rolls, tempura, seaweed side dish, main dish, rice and miso soup. Even though the soup is a bit watery, we still enjoyed the meal. Friendly staffs.

Dined in and ordered take out from here plenty of times. Best Chinese food in the area and the service is always excellent. Only ever experienced problems during the holidays which is a given when you have a high volume of orders.

Spacious the food was pretty good and it hit the spot even as leftovers it was good. I got the lunch plate with spare ribs, chicken fingers and spring roll. They were all very good.

My husband and I came to the Green Ginger for the first time this past Friday after years of wanting to try it! It was a phenomenal experience overall. The menu had so many different options that it was difficult to make a choice, so we will certainly be coming back to try what we couldn’t on Friday. The environment was relaxing, clean, and decorative.
We ended up having the Hot & Sour soup, Egg drop soup, Sesame Beef, Peyking Chicken special, Number 8 Sushi Roll, and Seaweed Salad. Everything was so delicious, the meat was tender & juicy, the soup seasoned perfectly, and the sushi & seaweed salad were some of the best I’ve had in a while. There wasn’t anything we were disappointed with & we are eager to come back.
Lastly, our waiter was great! He was patient with us, as we took forever to place our order due to the large menu. He made sure our wonton basket & drinks were filled. He warned us about the food being hot & to watch out for the step as we were leaving. He also gave us rice for our leftovers, so we could have enough for lunch the next day. Thank you James for the phenomenal experience, your waiter can certainly make or break an experience & James made ours! Looking forward to another Green Ginger visit soon ☺️

It’s a slow day and everyone is just sitting around doing nothing or on their phones. Couldn’t have been more than 4 other people in the restaurant and nobody gave us starters or even came up to ask for drinks. We sat for 30 minutes because we are regulars and enjoy the food but we ended up just leaving because nobody served us. Love the food when I can actually get some. Very disappointing to see employees sitting on their phones while tables are sitting waiting to even speak to someone.

Staff, including the maitre de, were polite and respectful. Service was excellent, menu extensive, food well prepared and presented, and portions filling. Prices very reasonable. Upscale atmosphere and decor. Will return and definitely recommend.
