Food was even better than anticipated. Great value for the price also. Seating is a little tight but still was able to enjoy dinner and conversation

Sadly, first and last time I’ll be visiting The Cats Meow. The food, was fine, only had the French onion soup and a martini. The Martini was $11.50, good, but this is a side street in Manheim…price was surprising. The waitress was … TOO attentive, we felt rushed and unwelcome, this was 4 PM on a Wednesday, they were not busy. Someone in my party was charged $3 for celery she was offered with her zingers, she was not told it was an added cost. I will give credit that the food was served quickly and hot, and they didn’t make a big deal about splitting the bill.

Awesome restaurant and bar right in Manheim. Staff is super friendly and go oit of their way to make you have a great time and meal. The food is super delicious and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And then, there is the Bourbon. If you love, like or want to love or like Bourbon, you need to check out their extensive Bourbon menu! I was hoping to score some Pappy Van Winkle, but after seeing all.of the other choices they had, you forget about such things.
We will be back for the fall and the patio for Bourbon nights with the Beginners2Bourbon crew!

We left under-impressed with food and service.

Food was just ok. Not a single item stood out except for very large portions. Unnecessarily large for the type of dining this restaurant seems to offer. Overall, we were fed but not impressed.

Interior looked beautiful and classy. Only seating in the outside yard-like area was available without a reservation which we didn’t mind, but it’s really nice in there and you would pay the same price for seating in that beautiful speakeasy vs seating on cheap benches outside
Hostess was courteous and tried to help.

Service was a hit or miss. Our waitress was not handling the stress of her job too well making her appear rushed and not present. Dropped things and disappeared for a while periodically. Never checked or cared if we had any issues with our meals. Another girl was very welcoming and friendly but didn’t happen to be assigned to our table.

Prices are reasonable. Fairly priced given they define themselves in the fine dining industry.
Value for money for our experience was not great though considering the quality of food and service we were given.

Thank you for having us. May return on a slower day for a second try.

Hidden gem for those traveling into town (1st time here). Friendly and welcoming from the 1st minute we walked into the door. Our server Amber was amazing and very attentive. Food was great, highly recommend.

The Cat’s Meow is an absolute gem. Mandy, the bartender, is amazing—welcoming, attentive, and clearly great at what she does. She makes the place feel instantly comfortable.

The Midwest, 1920s prohibition-style vibe is warm and cozy, the kind of spot you want to settle into and stay awhile. The food absolutely delivers. The meatball melt was outstanding, and the Packard sandwich seriously kicked—both packed with flavor and done right.

Prices are completely on point for the quality, atmosphere, and service. This place nails it across the board. Highly recommend stopping in.

Service was a bit slow, bartender seems frazzled but the drinks were amazing. Atmosphere is unique and definitely wanna try it out this place again.

Amazing food! I ordered the seafood pasta & my sister the stuffed shrimp. Food was so delicious we ordered liver n onions to take home. Best liver n onions I’ve ever had. Kudos to the chef. Even tho it’s a 50 min drive we will definitely be back. First time ever there & we were so impressed with the experience!

An amazing place to visit and dine in! It’s a combination of a friendly family restaurant and a 1920s bourgeoisie speakeasy. The drinks are crafted in a 1920s style and taste like nothing you’ve ever tried before. I personally recommend the gin cocktail. The food is authentic, reminiscent of what people would have eaten in the 1920s—simple and original, without any of the fancy additives developed in recent times to manipulate taste buds. It’s genuinely good. I would definitely come back to try more unique drinks and dishes. The staff is attentive and always goes above and beyond to make your experience special. And there’s more: Karaoke Saturdays start at 9 p.m.!
