We have visited twice. This is the best Indian food we have had. The menu has lots of options. The stag was very friendly. The food was so flavorful! Just tasting the gravy and I knew this was th place.

WOW! This one at Nexton is easily the best of the 3 locations in the greater Charleston area. The Hyderabadi Mutton Curry was delicious, with tender and flavorful meat that just fell off the bone, the curry was perfect, and it all paired really well with a garlic naan or a lachha parata, as well as the steamed rice that came with the curry. While it starts at a medium spice level, every bite leaves you wanting more. The Street Style Hakka Noodles with Chicken was about as perfect as could be expected. Spot on! Portion sizes were plentiful. A Mango Lassi offered an excellent balance to the heat from the Hyderabadi Mutton Curry. The Masala Chai was a tad bit heavy on the masala, primarily with cloves overpowering the pallet after each sip. The weakest link was the Samosa Chaat appetizer. Not bad, but not nearly as good as everything else mentioned above. I’m jealous of those who live in the Nexton area. But even for anyone living 45 minutes to an hour away, this is worth the drive. And if you’re in the area, this is a no-brainer.
Open a location on Clements Ferry Rd next, please?

Very nice atmosphere, welcoming and attentive staff. Food had good flavor, but seemed inconsistently heated. Same with the naan, seemed homemade, but not cooked to my liking. Actual rating is more like a 3.6, but I’d definitely give another try.

I’ve been to the original location but this was newly open in Nexton so we came here for date night.
We were pleasantly surprised by this experience! The dining room is clean and beautiful. They offer a lot of seating and it wasn’t super busy for a Monday night. Their menu had so much variety and dishes I’ve never heard of before but was excited to try. I picked out a white and red for us to try, Indian which I’ve never had before as a Somm. Personally, I do not recommend and did not enjoy the flavor profiles of them. However, they were drinkable and didn’t ruin our experience.
The dosa, OMG – HUGE! Crispy, light and flavorful. You get little bites of diced onion, garlic and herbs on the inside and all the dipping sauces offered. It was a great appetizer to start with. It was so hard to pick but we went with the chicken tikka dry with the sauce on side along with the Vindaloo curry. Holy cow I was in flavor town heaven. Every bit was packed with tons of spices and flavored perfectly. Then you take a piece of the garlic naan and dip it into the sauce and I was in heaven. One critique I do have is at times I would bite into these chunks of anise or some clove of some sort and that was overwhelming. But overall they cook some amazing Indian food here. The staff were so friendly and did a great job throughout our experience. We cannot wait to go back now that this location is so much closer to our house!

My family and I came here for dinner on a friday night. Inside was full to the brim, but they had reservations in front of us. They told us that they could seat us but there was a booth way in the back that most people wouldn’t even know existed unless they looked for it. lol. We said we’d take it because we wouldn’t know how long the wait would be. I thought they might forget about us being way back there but the customer service was amazing. Even though we were in the back and couldn’t enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of the restaurant, we didn’t want that to kill our experience. They took great care of us. We started with Long island Ice teas which were strong. We had the Garlic & cheese naan with the lamb samosas. Both were really tasty. I DO NOT recommend the sauces that come with the samosas. Anyway, our child had the Naan pizza and absolutely loved it. For entrees, I decided to go with the Hyderabadi Mutton Curry and my wife ordered the lamb biriyani(my original choice but she told me to get something different. lol) Everything looked good and was delicious, I preferred her dish over mines. The lamb and rice had soooo much flavor. Mines was good but there were bone fragments instead of just whole bone that kind of took the enjoyment out of eating the dish. Either way, both were good, but I’d recommend the biriyani just out of pure flavor and the ease of eating. Before the tip, everything we had cam out to around $97. I would bring my wife back here to eat but I would highly recommend a reservation if you decide to go. They get full pretty fast and they don’t really have that much seating. We hope you have a good experience if you decide to try them out and try to sit in the main part of the restaurant. Take care.

Everything was amazing. From the service to the food. The ambiance is welcoming and comforting. My fave were the chicken lollipops. We tried the lamb chops, butter chicken, garlic naan bread and the burnt garlic fried rice. My husband enjoyed it all. We will be back. Try it.

My wife and I have it there several times. The food is always good. We’ve only been there for the buffet so far. They usually have about 15 items juice from. They always have some that are gluten-free. They usually have a few that is also meat free. Some of the items are spicy from my miled to be pretty hot. A few items are not spicy hot at all. I highly recommend trying their buffet to get a good idea of what they have.

A+ experience. The food was superb. The best Indian cuisine I’ve tried so far. My family and I will be returning. The service was great as well. The lamb was tender, butter chicken on point and Masala fire good. Lamb samosas were good too.

Best Indian Food ever! The staff was very friendly. Get there early because a place this great draws a crowd.
We can’t wait to try the lunch buffet.
Our server, Raj, was attentive.
We also had the Okra Fries but ate them before a picture could be captured.

I had an amazing experience at Naan at Nexton! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
The food was outstanding — full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked perfectly, and the spices were well-balanced without being overwhelming. You can really taste the authenticity and care put into the recipes. This place is a true gem in Summerville, and I’ll definitely be coming back often. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Indian cuisine!
