Went here twice. Both times for work. First time it was new to me and I was nervous because it was a job interview. The service was amazing and I was so comfortable I was able to be myself. After almost 2 years I went back with the company that hired me (thank you by the way) and we had some guests from Germany. They really enjoyed the food and they even remembered me after not being there in almost 2 years. It’s definitely a great place to go if you are visiting Lowell Michigan. If you don’t like it. Your next meal is on ME!! That’s how confident I am you will not like it but LOVE IT

Always a great place for breakfast! I havent been in years, but met a friend for breakfast and it was great! I was strangely very busy. I think we had to wait about 15 min for a table.

Order my usually 2 eggs and hash browns.
Eggs are cooked perfect. As far as hash brown not once have I gotten then as requested. I order then xxxxxcrispy with onion I request to have union cooked with the hash browns. Not once is the onion cooked in with hash browns they are lightly saute put on top of hash brown. Hash brown are lightly cooked lightly crispy.
Stopped ordering bacon as it over cooked for my likings it way to crispy and burnt last time. Order my toast with extra butter on it they only put butter basically in middle of toast not out to edges of the crust I always have ask for extra butter. Last few times temperature of food was very low definitely not considered hot.
Staff is very friendly and polite all wonderful

They have made a lot of improvements to the outside of the building. It looks really nice. The front entrance has been updated as well as an outdoor seating area. The menu has been updated, with a few additions. Their are a few new employees, but most of the employees have been there for quite a while. One area that has really changed is their hours. Check their website for updated ones. The food is fresh, the food is good, and with good portions. The inside hasn’t had any big improvements to the seating areas, so don’t expect anything top end. It’s always been a mom & pops kind of eatery. People tend to come in, eat, and leave in short order!

Food, I must say, was amazing! The service was not… After the kids’ soccer game yesterday, we decided to take the grandparents, who drove two hours from the east side of the state to see their grandkids play soccer, to breakfast. We live in Cedar Springs, but had a game in Lowell. Instead of driving back to our neck of the woods, we decided to check out the spot with 1.7k 4.5 star reviews. I must admit, I was quite embarrassed to bring my family to this cafe. Although the wait for a table wasn’t excessively long, the service we received at our table was truly disappointing.. It seemed that Miss Linda might have been experiencing a challenging day, or perhaps she primarily caters to her regular patrons. Her response time was somewhat delayed. The customer service provided was quite reserved. Our party of seven was not offered refills for coffee, water, or the children’s drinks. Although I had desired tea, she did not return to inquire about our breakfast. Additionally, she did not offer boxes for our leftovers. We had to actively seek her out to request these items. When my husband asked for the bill, she passed it to him with a gesture that was less than gracious. It was, regrettably, the most unsatisfactory dining experience I have encountered. I will not recommend this establishment to others, nor will I be returning. We did nothing to warrant the level of service we received yesterday. I could express my disappointment with Miss Linda’s demeanor towards my family in various ways, but I wish her well regardless. If her regular customers appreciate her approach, that is their prerogative. The experience was not enjoyable for me, yet we still left a gratuity. Ultimately, kindness prevails.

Staff is notoriously nosey and, in my experiences, butts in on conversations that they were never welcomed into. Food is normal for a greasy spoon / truck stop establishment. Overpriced for what it is, in my opinion.
