Two things I didn’t like:
1. Toilets were very unclean. For a clean Dhaba, the management could do a good job in maintaining the restroom
2. The guy in red full sleeve shirt with a bucket hat (11/30 evening) was very pushy in making us pay with cash. He initially said that payment would be with cash only. Then went on to point us to the ATM to withdraw cash and pay him. After a lot of resistance, he agreed to charge our credit card extra (about $52 with cash & $56 with credit card). I also learned that he forced the party ahead of us to pay cash . I understand you want to take cash to avoid tax payment but common , you have a credit card machine for us to right in front of us and still insist that we paid cash . This was not okay on his part
Washroom is average hence one star knocked off from the rating.
Edit : one more star knocked off since the food caused an upset tummy the same night 🙂
The service is fast and the food is truly good.
The seating area is not as fancy as most would like, probably, but I like the atmosphere.
Give it a try! Have some adventure.
You need to get to the building through dirt and debris. Inside, there is a huge open trash can in the dining room. Now I know what it’s like to be at home..
Stopped here while driving on I-40 and was honestly blown away. This place feels like a real Punjabi dhaba straight from India—simple, welcoming, and full of flavor.
The food was fresh, authentic, and made with heart. The chicken curry, dal makhani, and rotis tasted just like home. Rich flavors, perfectly spiced (not overly greasy), and generous portions—exactly what you want on a long highway drive. Even the chai was spot on ☕.
What really stood out was the warm hospitality. The staff treated us like family. Quick service, and a comfortable place to relax with kids after hours of driving.
We enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning to stop here again on our return trip. If you’re tired of fast food and craving real Indian/Punjabi food, do yourself a favor and stop here.
Highly recommended. Will definitely stop again!
Update: We stopped again for dinner while returning and added mixed paratha with curd (felt like homemade dahi). Same experience again.
We were driving from grand canyon to Las Vegas.
Place is not fancy. Its a very small setup.
Indoor during area.
But food is very tasty.
Having this kind of food in this remote area is very rare.
