I received a coupon to try something new and it was almost meatless. Plenty of melted cheese and a pasty tiny meat pieces.
Also the coupon was not accepted at this Arby’s due to contract with gas station.
I understand that.
I’ll try this again when we get to our local Arby’s just to see if it is normally a disappointment in taste, texture, and quality.
I took my niece and nephew to eat here earlier this evening before going to the movies.
When we sat down to eat, I noticed the roast beef on our sandwiches was a LOT thicker than it’s supposed to be.
It was gross.
Looked gross, felt gross, tasted gross
I took a bite to see if I could just eat it but I couldn’t
I took my sandwich up to the counter and said “I’m sorry to complain, but the roast beef is much thicker than usual”
The manager (a Hispanic lady) walked up and started becoming extremely defensive and rude
She treated me like shit
When I told her there were two more sandwiches that were the same, she basically rolled her eyes or like scoffed and told me to bring them to her
I walked up with all three sandwiches and she said “so WHAT do you want?!”
“You want it THINNER?!” (in the rudest tone I’ve ever heard come from a manager)
I said yes, she took them from me and said (also very rudely) that they’d remake them
I went back to the table and I could hear them laughing and (probably) talking shit which is crazy because THEY’RE THE ONES THAT MESSED UP
We were the only customers inside the restaurant, so you can imagine the energy in the room…
Awkward and uncomfortable
She brought our sandwiches out
Didn’t apologize, didn’t offer anything to make up for it, didn’t say anything really
The new sandwiches were perfect
Razor thin roast beef
That’s Arby’s!!!
The workers will cut it thick because they’re lazy
It takes more work to cut thinner slices if each sandwich weighs a certain amount, you know?
LAZY
It’s sloppy
And I’m sure (as a manager) she knew exactly what I was talking about so I don’t know why she was looking at me and talking to me like I was complaining over nothing
When we left, I yelled thank you and “so much better” I think
I don’t remember what she said back but it was short and unmemorable
This kind of behavior from not only team members, but management is unacceptable
Do better
When an older couple was coming in the employee was running food outside, before he passed them he was aware enough to stop and come back and open and hold the door for them!
I got my food fairly quick and got the double beef n cheddar but after just 3 bites i had to get a fork and a wife because the buns disintegrated in my hands. Probably won’t get that again. Maybe if they used a stronger bread or put it in like a hogie roll or like a sub.
Overall good experience and will definitely be back.
I am not replying to your offer. Because 1). The link is broken and takes you to a 404 error. 2). I tried you out and you failed. There is not a second chance here today, sorry. 3). It is quite patronizing and absu d that I have to follow up with you. Fix your restaurant and none of this would have ever had to even exist.
