I’ve been coming here for over 7yrs and haven’t had any major problems until today. I ordered a chicken and brisket combo with an order of wings. Everything was fine except my brisket. I couldn’t believe what saw in my box once I got home. They literally placed 3 pieces of brisket fat on a slice of bread. It appeared as if someone trimmed off fat and placed that on bread and sold it to me. I was so upset that I just threw it away before I decided to take a picture or call the store to complain. You normally don’t get that much brisket in a combo in the first place, but to get 100% fat and absolutely not meat is insane. I hope this never happens again to me or anyone else. I’ll be inspecting my box before leaving from now on.

The way to order food is ridiculous. Also, the food quality was terrible! None of the food is how it used to be. Fried pickles were horrible! Can tell the grease rarely gets cleaned, my daughter’s chicken tenders tasted like extremely old grease as well as our fired pickles. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend stepping foot in here. Nor will I ever. Stop in at blue barn bbq, better service, and better food.

Staci at Famous Dave’s is the most kind-hearted person EVER! She saved our lives with emergency food while we were stranded and nearly freezing to death in this -20° blizzard! The food was so good and comfortingly warm, we actually cried while eating it. The dinner Staci arranged for us is the greatest meal our old haunted home has seen in several decades! Everything right down to their famous Devil’s Spit sauce was so intoxicating that we had to stop and get the silverware out for it… and the GRILLED-CHEESE SANDWICH was the tastiest, most decadent grilled-cheese sandwich I’ve had anywhere! Our pipes are currently frozen and we have no water, so without Staci and Famous Dave’s, we probably wouldn’t be alive right now. For that, we are eternally grateful. I understand now how a hot meal really can save a life! In the case of Famous Dave’s and a loving soul like Staci, we had an amazing dinner that we’ll remember forever. ❤️

We’ve been to Famous Daves before, but it was quite a few years ago. Now, you
have to pay/order as soon as you walk in the door. The only alcohol they serve is beer, so disregard any cocktails menu you’ve seen on Google. Lady working the register was nice enough. Absolutely no table service. We’ll be headed to Blue Barn BBQ in Cedar Falls for our BBQ needs.

Our family loves BBQ. We are fortunate to have a few options for BBQ in our small town. Famous Dave’s is the most affordable option. It has very consistently served our family with pretty good BBQ over the years. The cedar falls FD’s is clean has good service and is about the same food quality as any other FD’s I have visited. Burgers are sometimes over cooked. Ribs are good, not great. Try the spicy Mac n’ cheese.

Made an order for delivery. The desert had a lid where it appeared to have a “sell by” date on it. It was haphazardly removed. I called to inquire and spoke to Isaiah, who claimed to be the manager.
He told me that when they “sell a desert, they take the old lid off and replace it”. I said, “are you seriously telling me that company policy is to replace a lid with another lid that was used?”
Because I was unwilling to accept that he began to shout “Ma’am! Maam! ma’am!” I said “Isaiah please don’t raise you voice at me. You e not given me an adequate explanation as to why this label was removed and I no longer feel safe eating this food.” He then hung up.
