We visited Happy Lamb Hot Pot on December 22nd, and as always, the experience was absolutely wonderful. This place is one of my favorite spots for lamb in hot and spicy broth—it genuinely feels relaxing and comforting every time we come here. The food was amazing, just like every visit before, and the service was exceptional. The staff are always so humble, polite, and welcoming, which makes us want to keep coming back.
What made this visit extra special was a small but incredibly sweet moment at the end. We loved the oranges they serve and ended up eating four or five of them. Out of curiosity, I asked the cashier where they get those oranges from. She kindly checked with the manager, and instead of just answering, he surprised us by giving us an entire bag of those oranges to take home. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture—it honestly made our night.
We spent almost two hours there, enjoying great food, great service, and a truly memorable experience. Little moments like this are what make Happy Lamb so special for us. Highly recommend this place—not just for the food, but for the genuine kindness and hospitality that make every visit feel special.

Great experience at Happy Lamb Hot Pot. The recent menu changes were a win—love the new broth option, and the new meat additions were fresh and flavorful. Everything came out quickly and the quality was solid.
You can tell they’re actually improving and listening, which makes it even better. Definitely a go-to spot if you like hot pot.

I had a great experience at this hot pot restaurant! The food quality was excellent — everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-stocked. I really appreciated the self-service setup, which made it easy to customize my meal and enjoy it at my own pace. Everything was brought out in a timely manner, and the staff were kind, efficient, and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a casual, delicious hot pot experience!

Wa planning to go to another restaurant and walked passed Happy Lamb saw their $20 weekday promotion. The other restaurant had long line 40min wait so walked back to Happy Lamb. The Hot Pot is fantastic and great value! The bone broths are rich and flavorful, the ingredients are always fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The sauce and buffet bar had great selections. A perfect spot for a fun and delicious meal with friends or family!

Our Togo Spot in Austin all the time. High standard meat and large portion. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a fun place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Portions were generous, and it felt like a great value for the quality.

This place was amazing! But they recently did something very underhanded. They raised their price by $2 and instead of making it the menu price. On a weekday it is still $20 but you have to pay an extra $2 if you want broth. As a hot pot what is the point of no broth. Obviously they cannot make me eat any raw food. So I thought maybe I could take some food home and cook it there. But no, they added a note where you cannot take any food to go. So instead of being upfront and raising the price by $2. They kept it the same officially but will charge you more if you want to actually eat anything there! When I asked about this, the server laughed and said yes I know. If it was official, I would have happily paid the $2 extra because it’s worth it. But I hate being tricked or having hidden fees implemented. This strategy is extremely underhanded and disrespectful
Edit 1/20/26 since I loved this place I tried coming back. Ordered the best of both worlds as always. The spicy broth barely had any flavor and was looking pale. I will not name them, but the waiter admitted that they ran out of spicy broth earlier in the day so they have been diluting it with regular broth to try to keep people going. I eat the spicy broth and it barely had any flavor. Apart. From ingredients missing from the bar such as ramen and shrimp. They still expected us to pay for the increased price with much less quality. We asked for a manager and waited 20 minutes but they never showed up. This place used to be amazing, but now it is way below average

The tomato broth is the best. The buffet line is always nice and clean and I’m always sat very quickly. Garlic marinated beef is fantastic. The selection of seafood and veggies does change once in a while but they always have the fish balls so don’t worry about that!!
Great value at $26.99 for all you can eat. If you wanna take leftovers home the Togo fee is $8 since it is all you can eat and they don’t want you wasting a lot of food.
Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved Happy Lamb Hot Pot! The broths were incredibly flavorful, especially the ‘Best of Both Worlds.’ Service was attentive and efficient, and the all-you-can-eat selection had tons of fresh meats, veggies, and noodles. Great value and a fun, satisfying experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This place was extremely disappointing. The restaurant looks nothing like the photos on their website — it honestly felt catfished. There was only one cooking option which was broth, which is unacceptable for a hot pot spot. We paid $100 for three people, which would maybe be justified if the experience or food was good, but it wasn’t. On top of that, the staff was rude and unhelpful. This was easily the worst hot pot experience I’ve ever had, and I say that as a regular hot pot enthusiast. Would not recommend at all. Not to mention everything was grimy the table the silverware the buffet
