I recently visited Taco Addicts in Cary, and overall, it feels like a solid place to hang out especially if you’re looking for a casual spot with good energy. The atmosphere has a fun vibe, and I could definitely see it being more lively on a Friday or Saturday night, though I can’t fully speak to that since we didn’t go during peak hours. There are also some cool photo ops throughout the space, which adds to the experience.
As for the food, the Mexican dishes are good but fairly standard-nothing exceptional, but what you’d expect from a neighborhood Mexican restaurant. We didn’t try any tacos this time, which may have been a missed opportunity.
I personally made at a Mexican restaurant and it was a clearr miss. I had the seafood molcajete, and unfortunately, it was not good. The scallops were tough and chewy, the shrimp was also chewy, the crab legs were awkwardly seasoned, and the tilapia had a strange aftertaste. It just didn’t come together well. On the other hand, my son ordered the California burrito and absolutely loved it, so clearly some menu items hit the mark. We also ordered the cheese dip for the chips, and while it was fine, it wasn’t anything special.
Customer service was average-nothing negative, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, Taco Addicts seems like a good social spot with decent food options if you stick to the basics. I’d consider going back, but I’d definitely order differently next time.

Food was quite inexpensive and very tasty. Service was very friendly and super attentive. Our waitress, Melanie, is highly recommended for a wonderful dining experience. We really enjoyed ourselves — all 7 of us!

My husband and I tried Taco Addicts for the first time today. Our server was Mario. He was attentive, friendly, and helpful! I had the enchiladas supremes while my husband tried the vampiro tacos. WOW! The food came out quickly and tasted incredible. We will absolutely be back!

Can’t say I’m in love but I thought the chicken sopas were pretty decent. The chips and salsa were good – chips on the thick side. Partner thought his stall and eggs were good.
Staff were super helpful and ready to ask any questions. Thumbs up for them.
Someone was in the bathroom making a whole lot of unpleasant noises which made it unsettling as we ate.

Came in for a late lunch and was quickly greeted with a smile by a pretty face. (Can never argue with good first impressions) sat at the bar and was served chips and salsa and offered drinks from the bar quickly and had a great experience the rest of the time. Will definitely return upon my next business trip to Raleigh

The food was different, but in such a good way! Light and delicious, full of flavor! It was not your typical Mexican restaurant, but a fantastic change of pace; ill definitely be back when im in town. The Santa Fe tacos and ACP were great

We went for lunch, I had steak tacos, wife had chicken. the chicken were not good at all but steak was good. Queso had little flavor and chips were hard. Overall it was a decwnt meal but prices were insane. Many more traditional mexican restaurants provide better food at a much more reasonable price.

I was so excited to try the food here chips not fresh, steak and chicken dry. Lack of flavor. Odd overall presentation of food with shrimp and etc hidden under a pile of mystery. I thought the fried ice cream would be a pick me up but sadly a let down.
