Love the high tables! Food came out really quick. Very much enjoyed the Baja quesadilla. Very unique compared to other quesadillas a pad in the past. And quite delicious. Ordered a side of guacamole and queso. For dipping the quesadilla. You have to go that route!
Came with a moderate amount of chips. Not too bad to snack on. The booths are pretty intimate and out of the walking path so that’s nice. We also set up a little bit higher and have windows to look out. Have to say great lighting in the evening as well.
Would definitely recommend. I hope I get to go back soon.

This place is a hidden gem in Destin. Food was fresh and came out relatively quick. The flavor and presentation were amazing and there’s multiple options for building your plate. Priced reasonably for being in Destin. This will definitely be a stop for me every time I visit. Decor on the walls representing Grateful Dead, Goose, and Phish. Really great vibe and atmosphere. Cold beers and mixed drinks are available.

So delicious and great recommendations from the staff! Clean and kind environment. We had the tacos (corn tortillas with chicken and Baja style) and the burrito (chicken with queso and southwest style). And don’t forget the hot sauce! All so yummy, great local spot.

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are consistently excellent. I ordered a kids’ shrimp quesadilla, prepared extra crispy, and the order was perfect. My daughter enjoyed every bite, and the portion size for the kids’ meal was quite generous.
The tacos were very flavorful. However, the taco salad with ground beef was the standout item on the menu that I highly recommend. The crust of the shell was fried to perfection. Despite occasional busy periods, the service remains attentive, and the food is always served hot, fresh, and beyond expectations. The tacos had no meat in it. Literally ridiculous. Like there is just no way. The only redeeming factor was that the employees were super kind and refunded me. I drove 30 minutes. Like literally two forks work of meat per taco. Tortillas were cold and not like heated or anything.

Went there during winter break with a group of friends, and it was never the same since Haley left. She was the best worker over there and was very kind, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. Everyone else feels like I’m talking to a brick wall and rude as hell. Only thing good there now is the food, service sucks .

Walking in and ordering the employees at the Fort Walton location I can tell are a lot happier. Getting the food, my daughter instantly did not like her quesadilla, which was never a problem at the other location. I asked her what was wrong and she said that the chicken they served was spicy Which we tried and it definitely was a little spicy so instantly I just knew I just wasted money on her meal. Then when it came to my food and my fiancé’s food, it’s just tasted old. We wanted to go to the Fort Walton location, but it said that it was closed that day so that’s why we drove all the way out to the Destin location and we probably will not be back to this location again.

I recently went on vacation July 15 through the 19th, 2024 in Destin, Florida. Burrito Del Sol was one of the stops and this was by far one of the best restaurants that I have been to!! The food was so good. There were others that dined here with me and needless to say, we all ate every bit of our food and no one had anything left over to take to go. lol That’s how good the food was!!! The atmosphere was very casual and the server who greeted us was very friendly and thorough in explaining how the ordering process worked.

It started long ago as a food truck, so the plain atmosphere is consistent. The shrimp tacos Baja style were very good. The burrito with shrimp, southwestern style was also delicious. We ordered as we came in at a counter, then waited a short time for it to be delivered to our table. Not a high class scarfing establishment, to be sure, but it was enjoyable and just what we expected.
