I had the hangover burger. Fries were seasoned perfectly. I don’t really like a well done burger but it was still good. Freshly made, I would order it again. There’s a good variety on tap and plenty on the food menu. People seem to enjoy playing darts and pool. I see a lot of regulars, it appears to be a good neighborhood bar with Karaoke. Pricing is better than Native and SanTan Flats down the road imo. There’s lots of bar seating and high tops, no booths.
Update: 4 to 5 stars. Had a few different menu items and food has been on point each time and the service is quick even during the busy weekend. Native is a restaurant that has a bar, I would say that this is a place that is a bar that serves food. Freshly made ingredients seasoned right. Queso and chips are good. Serval tap options and some are changed seasonally.

I’m not sure why people have talked bad about the service or anything here because that’s not the experience We had. We have lived out here for a while now and haven’t been here yet this was our first time and the service was amazing for us and the food. We will definitely be back. The waitress was so sweet and she helped us order & did everything we asked.

If the cook they call Gray is there, it’s great otherwise, it’s hit or miss.. when they have live bands it’s terrible the sound echos it’s just awful. The place is pretty gross the walls are so dirty, the floors never clean. A few of the bar girls are great, tish, lacey. Most of the wait staff is rude and just plain terrible. Darts are fun when they aren’t blocked off… karoake is great. When the new places open nearby I wont be coming back here, they have the most unwelcoming owner and staff, among the other issues. Did I mention the bathrooms and raw sewer smell always.

First time here and maybe my last. Sad that the service is unbearably slow. Waiting almost an hour and a half for nothing. Ended up walking out because of how slow it is. This place has karaoke 8 times a week, SOLD! I love this bar. It’s very large on the inside so when it’s really busy you don’t feel all crammed. The staff is very nice and accommodating, the karaoke host is wonderful and a very talented singer, and the food was delicious. They have pool tables, darts, sports on the screens and they have multiple events during the week. I think we just found our new hangout!! Highly recommend!!

After moving to the area my family and I are trying to find places to go eat. We heard from other locals to try this place out. We arrived and went and found a place to sit. Our server was nice. She might be new not knowing what the specials were and kind of slow with service. We asked for a couple of kids menus and they don’t have any. She ended up pulling a que card out of her folder that had the kids menu items on it. They should update the menus and include the “kids menu” We asked if they had chocolate milk or anything besides soda. She had no idea even tho it stated on their menu they did. So I ordered waters for all of us. Then about 10 min later she did say they have milk. My family and I ordered our food and it all came out at way different times. My wife got a cup of chili and the cup was super hot but the chili it’s self was very cold. My burger was well done instead of medium. The fries were decent but the meals could use a little help. I don’t know if it was an off day after reading other reviews but now living in the area I will give it another shot. fingers crossed the next experience is better.

Disappointed With Communication and Urgency
I came to The Gym Bar & Grill recently and used my business credit card during my visit. I later realized I didn’t have the card, so I immediately called to see if it had been found. The girl who answered put me on hold for over 7 minutes and 22 seconds, then the line disconnected. I called multiple times afterward, stressed out because this is my only business card — yet no one answered.
As a regional manager who handles clients and transactions daily, I completely understand being busy, but this situation needed urgency and professionalism. When someone calls about a possible lost card, a prompt response is expected. It’s not just about service — it’s about accountability and care for customers.
Hopefully, management addresses this so future guests aren’t left in the dark during stressful situations.

Came for a quick drink. Stayed because apparently this place has gravity-defying pours, solid bartenders, and a vibe that makes you forget tomorrow exists.
Had the club, thing was a protein monster and they repeatedly confused sour cream and salsa for ketchup and ranch. I’ll be back.

Big Mistake!
Arrived at about 7:10pm, didn’t get out of there until closer to 9:30. Service was slow and apathetic. Food was worse. I ordered a “Scratch Burger” medium. The subpar patty was overdone and the build was not what was on the menu. My friend’s sliders were bland and the fries were cold. Took a sip of my beer and realized I received the incorrect beer she didn’t even ask if she could replace it.
Unless you’re a local and want to saddle up to the bar for bottles of Bud and tequila shots, I do not recommend visiting this establishment.
