Service was friendly but slow. The food on the soup and salad bar was limited in selection and the soups has been sitting for a while and one of the soups listed was missing entirely. The desserts where a disappointment just sugary syrups and little actual cherries. The seats in the booth were torn and wore out. The sandwichs we’re bland and small serving size. The meat on the cheese steak was bland as was the cheese. If the meals were $5 or 6 dollars it would have matched what was served.

Took over an hour to get our food. Profanity and graffiti in the bathroom boths are old and torn. If they don’t maintain a dining room , I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. I was very disappointed. Our server left us before our meal was finished to jump on the bus to leave.. on her dial a ride so no one cleared off our table while we ate dessert… we wee very disappointed on the whole experience!

If I could give them a zero I would! I came in tonight at 7:30, asked if they were still seating people the lady said yes. We sat down waitress greeted up we ordered, while our order was cooking we were told by our waitress that we basically had 12 minutes to eat even though our meals weren’t at the table yet. Three other people walked in a the waitress told them that they had 6 minutes till closing. Also they ordered coffee and the waitress was like it’s already taken down but if you really want it we can make it. They bring our order to the table 6 minutes after closing. Pasta was dry, fish and shrimp well over cooked. Asked for thousand island dressing was given ranch. Never came to the table to see how our meal was. Very disappointed an will never be back definitely a waste of a 38.12 bill

I went to this restaurant on the 7th hoping to enjoy a quick dessert with my family. Unfortunately they were closed early. We were VERY disappointed. I dont think we will be coming back if this is a continuous thing. I’ve heard that its happened before as well. Great way lose business.

Food was very good, especially the strawberry waffles. Our hostess seemed to have a problem with our existence but our waiter Ruth was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and catered to our needs and deserves a raise and employee of the YEAR.

We came up from Mt. Pleasant and I was actually disappointed In the cleanliness of the dining room. There’s like a black dust film on the ceiling and the lights above the tables are filthy dust, bugs you name it the kicker is you can literally see finger prints of where they attempted a swipe or two but gave up. As some one who works in the the food and retail industry, as a manager, we have to set higher standards and that starts with management!! If I was the owner I would be flipping mad my restaurant looked like that. They didn’t even have enough ketchup for people. Like the store is right down the road send someone!!! Also the young man seating everyone needs a lesson on customer service. If I walk in and say how are you and you look and me and go,” uh I’m here”, sends a bad vibe!!

I grew up on Bob’s Big Boy in the 70s and it was awesome but Bob’s Big Boy’s are few and far between so while traveling through Michigan we were excited to find this gem. Inside was a bit old and ran down, floors and walls were stained and dirty making us rethink our decision to stop but the need to eat at Bob’s once again was stronger so we ordered. Menu isn’t the same, there’s many many new foods which would be expected over time but they do still have a few classics. The Bob’s classic burger combo plate with burger, fries and salad is gone and the original relish on the burger is also gone, now replaced with thousand Island dressing making this burger just a burger and not a “BBB” burger so it was disappointing but still tasty. Everyone’s food was tasty don’t get me wrong, and the highlight of our meal was the chocolate hot fudge cake that was and still is in the menu, yay! It arrived at our table in all it’s beautiful glory this classic deserves and was very but as delicious as I remembered! Without this classic dessert this lunch would have been a bust. So for me the things we first noticed weren’t enough to overcome the negatives I’m afraid. It’s just not the original BBB anymore and unfortunately, it’s just a restaurant called BBB. If you’re like me who grew up on BBB the only plus here was the dessert I’m afraid. HOWEVER…I did come across several BBB in my travels through Michigan that were definitely newer and most inviting and would have tried one of these for sure but my husband who wasn’t a fan and certainly not after our last visit so I didn’t try any of them but would definitely one of them so don’t misunderstand me, I’m almost certain the newer restaurants ARE going to be more like the BBB I remember so maybe pass on this particular BBB…

Was not bad, but now all the good staff not there anymore, there might be one or two great waitress left. Out of items with no note saying which items are out of only tell you if you try to order something they will tell you there out. I got chicken parmesan recently and the chicken was still rare not fully cooked and I got sick off of it. The loaded Mac and cheese was missing toppings. We can’t get ahold of anyone at corporate and no one will return our phone calls to make it right. Slow service many times.

You know the restaurant is short on help when there are hot plates in the kitchen window constantly waiting to be delivered. I didn’t enjoy hearing the kitchen’s karaoke. They sound awful! Sometimes people just want to enjoy conversation. More than a 10 minute wait for only an ice cream dessert.
