Went for lunch with a very good friend. The service was great, the food was very delicious and on point( Taquitos Dorados). They also have a very inviting atmosphere, the girls there are a very nice and welcoming. Will be recommending my friends and family. Shout out to Ms. Gisela Armenta .

Was here for lunch with my friend who is a friend of the boss. The place is packed for lunch. Send like it’s a very popular local place. Food is really good and they offer party trays and I believe they also cater.
Outdoor sitting is available.

I have been coming for Casa Perez for years now. Every time I go I always forget to take pictures of the food since I eat it right away.
This place isn’t the biggest but the food is delicious 10/10.
We went on a Sunday evening and there’s a young musician group playing which was nice.
No complaints when we go. I know they do get busy at times but give the Waitresses a break they will try their best to assist you.

Honestly one of the best chuletas I’ve tried in the area in a while, food had great flavor and the taste was super authentic I am glad to come across this place, count me in as a regular on Monday or Tuesday that I make a trip from San Diego to LAX. The service and attention from ALL the staff is on point! Cook came out and checked in on me, even put avocado in since they had no guac! This is top level attention to detail and go the extra mile to execute a well prepared meal, coffee was spot on and filled a couple times which is a plus. You don’t have to look for attention from server. They are there ready to help right away. To all the staff THANK YOU! Que chingon se come aqui! Sin duda regreso

I’ve been going to Casa Perez for years because the food is consistently good — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the customer service.

Over time, I’ve noticed a steady decline in the professionalism and attitude of several servers. Many seem unhappy or uninterested in serving customers, including (who I believe to be) the owner’s daughter or manager. There is one server who’s always friendly and professional, but when anyone else helps us, it’s often an unpleasant experience.

For example, during one recent visit, I placed my order before another table, yet they received their drinks first. When I politely asked about my coffee, the manager responded defensively, saying they had run out and needed to brew a new pot — but her tone was unnecessarily aggressive. After years of similar experiences, it became clear that customer service is not a priority here.

Because of this, I stopped dining in and only order menudo for pickup on weekends. Unfortunately, even that has become disappointing. Today I ordered online through DoorDash to avoid in-person issues, but my order was incorrect. When my wife called to address it, the staff refused to take responsibility, insisting it was our fault for not including details in the notes — even though I had.

A better response would have been simple: “Let’s make it right for you.” Instead, they offered “free grano” for the menudo, which isn’t even an extra-charge item. That kind of response only adds insult to injury.

In short — the food is good, but the service and attitude are not. If you value friendly, attentive service and accountability when mistakes happen, this isn’t the place for you. I truly hope management takes this as constructive feedback and remembers that good customer service is the foundation of any successful business.

I had the shrimp burrito, it was gross. It was mushy and smelled funny. I lost my appetite. My husband had torta ahogadas but he didn’t like it. He said it’s like they put fish in it. Fish with carnitas?! So whoever prepared it was just grabbing random food and not being hygienic. We won’t come back, we wasted money. My stomach is upset now.
