Outdoor sitting is available.
This place isn’t the biggest but the food is delicious 10/10.
We went on a Sunday evening and there’s a young musician group playing which was nice.
No complaints when we go. I know they do get busy at times but give the Waitresses a break they will try their best to assist you.
It’s a tad bit of a wait but worth it definitely recommend. I believe you gotta give it a chance when you pass by
Over time, I’ve noticed a steady decline in the professionalism and attitude of several servers. Many seem unhappy or uninterested in serving customers, including (who I believe to be) the owner’s daughter or manager. There is one server who’s always friendly and professional, but when anyone else helps us, it’s often an unpleasant experience.
For example, during one recent visit, I placed my order before another table, yet they received their drinks first. When I politely asked about my coffee, the manager responded defensively, saying they had run out and needed to brew a new pot — but her tone was unnecessarily aggressive. After years of similar experiences, it became clear that customer service is not a priority here.
Because of this, I stopped dining in and only order menudo for pickup on weekends. Unfortunately, even that has become disappointing. Today I ordered online through DoorDash to avoid in-person issues, but my order was incorrect. When my wife called to address it, the staff refused to take responsibility, insisting it was our fault for not including details in the notes — even though I had.
A better response would have been simple: “Let’s make it right for you.” Instead, they offered “free grano” for the menudo, which isn’t even an extra-charge item. That kind of response only adds insult to injury.
In short — the food is good, but the service and attitude are not. If you value friendly, attentive service and accountability when mistakes happen, this isn’t the place for you. I truly hope management takes this as constructive feedback and remembers that good customer service is the foundation of any successful business.
