This is my first time at Silicers New York Deli at the Commerce Commons food court but my wife have eaten here before. The food court is open Monday to Friday close at 3PM or early. I step in the food courts they varieties of food stands then I went to the Slicers New York Deli then I was looking at the menu they have very choices of sandwiches choices.
I decided to order the Suga Mama it have maple glazed honey turkey with provolone cheese with vegetables and with honey mustard on toasted sqaw bread also comes with coleslaw but they ran out but they give a option potato salad add $1. I decided to bring it home. When I got home I unwrapped the Boarhead wrap you know they use high quality meats and other ingredients in this sandwich.

I really the potato salad I notice this scratch made potato salad I couldn’t tell how good is it. Next time I need to a different sandwich also they use Boarhead products in their sandwiches.

If you’re looking for some good sandwiches from a New York style deli then make sure to check out Slicers NY. They are serving up the classics like the pastrami sandwich on rye that goes by the New York Rachel. Then check out the chicken chipotle sandwich which is full of flavor. Both sandwiches are excellent. Leave the boring chains like subways, Jersey mikes and firehouse alone and come support these guys and enjoy a good tasting sandwich.

Mildly disappointed… I came in just after 9am what the hours stated and was greated to hear they weren’t open, yet to come back in 40 minutes.
I feel it would be in this establishments best interests to update their business hours. If you can’t begin on a Monday just show you dont open until 10am simple.

Not Good!!! Walked up to the counter the Lady didn’t even seem to speak English…. She really Didn’t understand my questions. The Hot Pastrami was Horrible, and the Macaroni Salad was store bought swimming in watery juice. The Sandwich had like more than 10 pickles on it, it was like pickles on top of pickles X’s 4 deep!! They do use Boarsheads Meats but the Pastrami was terrible, thin sliced and grilled not Roasted. The younger lady did speak English and was very professional… The lady who didn’t speak English was nice but should learn English to understand customers better… I can’t believe they charge a Dollar extra for a Horrible watery macaroni salad! $17.00 wasted!! I will Never return to this place, what a waste of time, as I was really looking forward to this meal and was completely let down.

I came here because I love Johnnie’s Pastrami in Culver city and wanted to see that this was like. HAD SOME GOOD REVIEWS and others complaining about size and quality of food. So being me I needed to check it out.
After eating here I would have to say it alright sandwich is good, but doesn’t come with anything. The service was good. I would not eat here again simply because there are better options in the food court there.

Great Corned Beef and Ruben. I’m from Cleveland OH where the President stops through for a Corned beef sandwich. Cleveland is well known for A1 Corned beef. Been here 12 years & Every other spot in LA serves spam like, thick sliced, ham like Corned beef.
Slicers knows how to COOK, SEASON AND MOST IMPORTANTLY CUT the Corned beef to serve a lean, shaved, seasoned, grilled sandwich. Preferred to go, but the food cafe was very clean and I would totally dine in for a quick lunch break. #addicted
