Attractive point: Magnificent view during sunset
This place is well known for its beautiful view during sunset so there was already some people waiting when we arrived there around 6 pm in Tuesday. I personally think the sunset view is worth waiting if the waiting is expected to be less than 40 mins. Options are bar / table (some are right next to the beach) / beach seats and if you wish to get a beach table, you might have to wait longer. Live performance was going on when we arrived. Not sure if that’s everyday event, but it added more vibe to entire place. Service was awesome, our server deserved her 5 stars. We tried Conch fritters, Key lime pie, and mahi fish sandwich. Foods were great and well cooked, but my partner thinks that the conches were a little bit too chewy. Quality-price ratio was not optimal, but considering the location, it wasn’t that bad compared to other over-priced restaurant.
Went with a group for lunch on our way back to Miami after being in Key West for a long weekend. Can’t say enough good things about the atmosphere and service! Our waitress was phenomenal. You can tell the people that work here are just happy.
Our group got a couple of cocktails which were good and a smattering of apps from the menu to munch on. The conch fritters were similar to a hush puppy for those not familiar. Overall mild but satisfies the desire for a fried snack. The beer cheese that came with the pretzel was a big hit for the group. The onion rings were fried well and not a piece left behind.
As for me, I challenged myself to get vegan food items and was very successful. I ordered two sides off the menu that I thought would be filling and hold me over, the rice and beans. I had rice and beans a bunch throughout the keys and it’s amazing how flavorful such a simple dish can be. The rice a Lorelei was a little hard either from being slightly underdone or just sitting a while. And the beans were decent. I wasn’t unhappy and it certainly was filling, but not the best I had while in the Keys. I also ordered off menu and our waitress hooked me up with chips and guac. The fresh potato chips were quite good and the guac was a welcomed attendee to the party. Lots of flavor.
Overall, this place is a good stop if you’re visiting or just passing through on your way to Miami or Key West. Again, the service is top notch and you’re going to leave feeling well taken care of!
Dry rub chicken wings at happy hour were decent.
Haven’t had a meal here. To me, it’s a sunset outdoor drink place. But there are tons of tables and on a Sunday around 530pm , last week of February, I heard 40 minute wait
My waitress was so friendly and the service was top notch.
And the hotel sauce! Great flavor. Didn’t overpower, but added a mild kick.
