Stopped by for brunch and had an overall satisfying meal. The burger was a standout with well-balanced flavors. The pork belly Benedict was also enjoyable with tender & rich pork belly, and the congee was comforting and full of umami.
The KBBQ jackfruit skillet was a miss – it sounded great on paper but fell a bit flat flavor-wise. The pancakes with hibiscus butter and coconut were decent but not especially memorable. Overall, the portions also leaned a bit small for the price. That said, the meal was still enjoyable overall, and the staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Mott St had a great energy from the moment it opened- busy, lively, and welcoming! I am not usually a burger person, but the famous Mott Burger completely won me over. The hoisin aioli and miso butter took it to another level. And the burger itself was just so juicy!
A great place to check out in Chicago and absolutely worth it.

Fresh and delicious food. We had an amazing brunch experience. The space is vibrant and has a nice social charm. Service was excellent. My friend and I got the gailan, eggplant Benedict and the breakfast potatoes. Everything was flavorful and tasty. Looking forward to being back for dinner soon!

Amazing dinner. We found this place when we were visiting. It is small and intimate perfect for a date or to catch up with friends. Every dish was seasoned, cooked and flavored beautifully. Nice use of Asian flavors and ingredients for a delicious fusion menu. Highlights were the butterfish, Brussels sprouts and pork belly. We were absolutely stuffed and had no room for dessert. Service was excellent.

Asian fusion served family style along side craft cocktails and a very good burger.
Interior is a bit tight, but there is an outdoor patio as well during good weather.
All of the items we got were very good and service was fast and attentive.
Worth going if just to go to the bar and try the burger.

Can’t believe we waited so long to visit Mott St!
The summer tomato salad was a refreshing start with a generous portion of tomatoes, dressed subtly with vinaigrette and a touch of seaweed. The imperial rolls were delicious and not too heavy or overly greasy. The lettuce wraps actually enhanced at the dish, which seems never to be the case elsewhere.
The Mott Burger more than lived up to the hype and was so unique with flavors from ingredients including miso butter onions, pickled jalapeño, and hoisin aïoli. I was a definitely hesitant but they all sang in beautiful harmony. The stuffed cabbage was equally excellent with perfectly cooked pork, crispy rice, kimchi (which I don’t normally like), and kimchi broth. We shared the miso caramel budino for dessert which was fine, but our least favorite dish.
Mott St hits the perfect blend of quality food, a unique yet approachable menu, cozy and inviting ambiance, and good service. A great spot for a “nice” meal out in Chicago!

We got the burger and a short stack of the coconut gluten free pancakes. THE BURGER WAS TO DIE FOR. I am a natural fatty at heart so I wish they had French fries on the side but still a 10/10. The coconut pancakes were delicious and fluffy, which was surprising for gluten free!!

We came here last Saturday to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a reservation, but part of our group was running late and showed up after our time. The staff was super nice and still let us have our table, which we really appreciated!
I got the Mott Burger with an egg; cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor. The sauce and pickles added a great touch.
Overall, we had an awesome experience and will definitely be coming back for another burger!

The food was super fresh and very delicious! I recommend the ceviche and udon noodles. It’s definitely a fusion spot through and through so don’t come expecting very authentic flavors. Our drinks were also amazing, we can right around 5pm and didn’t have any wait at all. Service was great and worked with my mom’s allergies graciously. The only miss for me was the mango sticky rice: a bit too modern of a twist on an old classic, not sweet and the rice was hard. Looked pretty tho 😉

I had heard about Mott Street because of the burger and reserved a table for a Saturday night. All I can say is prepare to be stupified. Everything was better than expected and in flavor combinations I was not ready for. Try the steak. It is out of this world. The Gai Lan was also amazing and tasted like none we have had before and we lived in Southeast Asia for some time. And the hamachi crudo and the apple cider donuts. We will be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. Only note is it is very loud so if you are hard of hearing you will have trouble having a conversation.
