I ordered the Crab Cake Dinner, and unfortunately it tasted more like bread than actual crab. For the price, I expected much better quality and flavor. The portion and overall taste did not justify the cost. I even went out of my way and drove extra distance to try this place, which made the experience even more disappointing. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve the quality of the dish.

The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful but the food is not worth the visit. The restaurant is attached to a gas station and the food reflects that. I visited this place on a Friday night and with the amount of people there you would have thought it was a Monday night. I ordered the crab flatbread and when it arrived it was lukewarm at best. My server said she would see what she could do and then said they were fixing the issue. That fix ended up being them heating the flatbread back up instead of replacing it. I know this because three of the pieces had been bitten and when we received the it back those three pieces were missing. The middle of the flat bread was soggy and the cheese was a white and yellow mix. From this point I decided I no longer wanted to dine at this place and informed my server of this. The manager stopped by the table with a printed check and informed me that she heard we wanted to leave and they would box the food up for us to take to go. I informed her we were not interested in continuing our dining experience and that included the food. The manager then informed me that was not an option and we had two options. The first option was to pay for the food and take it to go or eat the food there and then pay for it. When I informed her that we had an issue with the flatbread even after it was reheated due to the soggy middle she stated that’s how flatbreads are. I have had many a flatbread and I have never had a soggy one inside of a restaurant. We chose to stay there and eat. All of that food was lukewarm as well. I think the food was ready and waiting as thy were reheating the flatbread and I was talking to the manger. Overall this restaurant is definitely not worth it. The staff especially the manager do not know how to handle situations properly. A manager should not go back and forth with a customer when there is an issue instead of justifying why something is cold and soggy. This was a real let down considering I drove 45 minutes to try this place. I will be telling everyone I know that this place isn’t worth it if you’re looking for good food and service.

It was fairly quiet when I visited (mid day of a weekday) but the service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious; had the burger and fries and the fries were crispy and the burger was big and juicy.
Already at a 5 out 5, the atmosphere took it to another level. Sat on the patio and was able to look out onto the water and watch the trees on the shore blow in the breeze. I saw they had boat slips so people could arrive via boat.
Overall, highly impressed and highly recommended.

Great pub and food. The owner was awesome to deal with. We both ordered a burger and it was cooked correctly. That doesn’t happen often. Drinks were a little spendy.

My boyfriend and I came for a late lunch. Not too busy, and we were able to get a wonderful table outside. I had the TNT Shrimp Tacos which were so good. The shrimp was bigger sized, bigger sized and cooked well. My boyfriend got the Chesapeake Club. The crab was seasoned well and it is the type of sandwich you get for a big appetite. 10/10 would return. Service was awesome. We were too excited to eat and forgot a before picture.

Such a great experience all around! The service was 11/10 and the food and drinks were great. The manager and servers took such great care of us. We went on a night with live music (Dakota Kensey) and they absolutely killed it. Such a great environment and will absolutely be back!

Most recently we stopped in to order some food to-go and had drinks while we waited. The food was incredible and everyone in our group of 12 (including 6 kids) found something they enjoyed. That’s no easy task for so many palates! The servers were extra friendly and helpful. It wasn’t our first time there and won’t be our last. Definitely try the crab mac and cheese and all of the appetizers are tasty. Fish tacos were top notch too.

We live around the corner and eat here frequently. Great atmosphere. Friendly people. Great staff. Tonight we had the pleasure of the New Years Eve menu. This was one of the best meals my wife and I had all Year. Perfect way to finish 2024. The Pic speaks for itself. Thank you Cove and happy new year!
