Nice and friendly staff. Food comes out quickly. My favorite menu is the new chicken strips. Try it with the chilli sauce. It’s amazing!

If I could give this McDonald’s zero stars I would. My grandmother who has high blood pressure decided she wanted just a small fries after she was done shopping due to feeling a bit faint due to mcdonald’s on the way out and the knowledge of their fries being super salty, she simply asked them if they could please make them without salt due to her HBP they proceeded to say no and refuse to give my 76-year-old grandmother salt-less fries. We have been to countless mcdonald’s together and they never have given us a problem. So if I can give this place zero stars I would because if it were anybody else you give salt less fries. Fix your management and treat your elders with respect and maybe people will start to actually wanna come and leave nice reviews.

Shares the same desolate atmosphere as McDonald’s across America as well as the same standard seedy and suspicious crowds of people. But the service is pretty fast so that’s good.

Such slow service! Always a long queue. Waiting around 15 mins to get served. No idea what could possibly take that length of time to serve approximately 4 customers in front.

I was happy to see Newport Mall having a McDonald’s until I started ordering from there. The fries are either cold or too hard w/no taste. It takes them 5 business days to complete mobile, o line & in-store orders. AND THERES AN UP-CHARGE. This location reminds me of the McDonald’s at Newark/Penn Station

I recently visited this McDonald’s location, and I can confidently say it is one of the least safe fast-food spots I’ve ever been to. Due to its unfortunate placement near the mall exit, the area is constantly crowded with overwhelming pedestrian traffic, an increasing number of homeless individuals, and people under the influence of substances. It creates a chaotic and unsafe environment that McDonald’s seems to completely ignore.
During my visit, I was literally threatened while trying to place an order at a kiosk. Another customer—who wrongly assumed I cut in front of him—became aggressive, despite the fact that I had clearly been there first. I managed to de-escalate the situation on my own, but the McDonald’s staff, while friendly, were absolutely powerless to do anything. There was no security presence, no management intervention—nothing.
McDonald’s needs to take immediate action. This location either needs a strong security presence, relocation to the food court, or to be shut down entirely. Customers shouldn’t have to worry about their personal safety just to grab a meal. If McDonald’s continues to ignore the very obvious dangers of this location, it’s only a matter of time before something worse happens. I will not be returning, and I highly recommend others avoid this place until serious changes are made.
*** UPDATE: I submitted a complaint stating the same as above into McDonald’s. I filled out a whole form online. It has been a WEEK and NO CALL or email back.

Be sure to check your burger before leaving. They quite often missed things. For example, I ordered double quarter pound, but they just gave single.
