This was the BEST experience I’ve had in a Taco Bell in a very long time, everyone was courteous, and kind. I was greeted when I entered. Food was actually fast yet tempered correctly. I’d almost given up on ol’ TBell but this helped restore my faith and tummy

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at this Taco Bell location (5518 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Norcross, GA 30093). After ordering food, I politely asked for sauce, but the employee at the counter was extremely rude, ignored me multiple times, and refused to respond properly. When I asked for a refund due to this treatment, she denied it and went as far as to call the police with false claims, saying we were refusing to leave.

This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for a customer service business. I even recorded videos for my own safety because the situation escalated unnecessarily. Looking at the Google reviews, I see many people have also reported bad experiences with this location. It’s clear that this issue is not isolated but part of a pattern of poor management and rude staff.

Taco Bell corporate should seriously review this employee and location because such unprofessional actions reflect very badly on the brand. Situations like this will continue to hurt Taco Bell’s reputation and business if not addressed.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern regarding an appalling experience at the Taco Bell located at 5518 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Norcross, GA. What should have been a routine visit turned into a deeply upsetting encounter that left me feeling disrespected, discriminated against, and unsafe.

After placing a simple food order, I politely asked for some sauce. To my shock, the employee at the counter responded with blatant rudeness, ignored my request multiple times, and refused to communicate in a professional or respectful manner. When I calmly asked for a refund due to this unacceptable behavior, the employee flat-out denied it. Instead of de-escalating the situation as any trained staff member should, she called the police on me with false claims, accusing me of refusing to leave — a complete fabrication. I was forced to begin recording the incident for my own safety and legal protection.

This experience was not just unprofessional — it felt targeted. Upon reviewing recent Google reviews for this same location, it is clear that my experience is not an isolated incident. Numerous customers — particularly people of color, and especially Brown individuals — have reported similar treatment. There are repeated complaints citing rudeness, hostility, and discriminatory behavior from staff. The recurring theme suggests a disturbing pattern of racial bias and discrimination, which should be deeply alarming for any national brand.

Here are some common issues seen across customer reviews:

Consistent rudeness and aggressive tone from staff

Refusal to provide basic items like sauces or condiments without argument

Multiple instances of customers being ignored or disrespected

Staff calling police unnecessarily, seemingly as a tool of intimidation

Unwillingness to provide refunds or resolve complaints in a civil manner

A noticeable pattern of disrespect directed at customers of color, particularly Latinos, South Asians, and other Brown communities

It is disgraceful and unacceptable for any business — especially a national chain like Taco Bell — to allow a location to operate in this way. This behavior not only violates basic principles of customer service but raises serious ethical and legal concerns about racial discrimination and abuse of authority.

Taco Bell corporate leadership must immediately investigate the conduct of the staff at this location, provide diversity and anti-bias training, and take disciplinary action where appropriate. No customer should feel unsafe, humiliated, or targeted when simply trying to order food.

This type of behavior reflects incredibly poorly on the Taco Bell brand and will continue to drive away loyal customers unless swift and transparent action is taken. I am formally requesting a full investigation into this matter and would appreciate follow-up on how it is being addressed.

We deserve better. All customers do.

Worst Taco Bell experience. The lady claiming to be manager was unprofessional and had zero customer service sense. Will not return to this location.

I asked for 2 sauce packets after she did not fulfill the quantity in my order paid at kiosk. Claimed it’s one sauce per item, which I’ve never heard at any location in 20+ years. No cutlery or sauces stocked, either.

2 other customers after me were displeased with this manager’s rudeness. She lacked any professionalism whatsoever.

She didn’t offer her name when I asked to speak to manager or owner, claiming she was the manager. Per county permit, the owner Jai Taco Atlanta LLC will hear from us and BBB.

Visited with family and kids on Sunday, August 10th at 11:30am. We ordered around $50 worth of food. From the moment we walked in, the manager was openly rude—without any provocation. She removed the sauce containers after seeing us use them, refused to provide more when asked, and denied soda refills, stating it was “her store, her policy.”
When we asked again for a refill, she continued to refuse—until another Taco Bell staff member stepped in and helped us. Despite that, the manager kept repeating that she wouldn’t give us another soda. We also noticed her treating a white customer politely while being hostile toward us, which raised concerns about discriminatory behavior.
When I expressed frustration—having never been treated this way in 30 years of visiting Taco Bell—she asked us to leave. We had just received our food and were quietly eating, so I declined. She then called the police.
By the time the officer arrived, we were nearly finished. He saw no issue and told us we were free to go. As we left, the manager followed us outside and told us never to return. She also refused to provide her name when asked.
I sincerely hope Taco Bell takes appropriate action to address this manager’s behavior. No customer should be treated with such hostility and disrespect.

6pm went to the drive thru. Woman with an attitude trying to take my order. All I wanted was 12 Taco box X 2. Supreme. It took forever for her to comprehend that. Then she said I would have to come inside to order that. Why???? By the time I got to this point I wasn’t wanting to deal with. Went to Pizza hut. Great service.

My picture should say it all. .30 min waiting in line after paying .just for the lady to tell me that one of the items I ordered they didn’t have ,so she refunded that “I guess”she also forgot to tell me they ran out of lettuce or them tacos just come with meat spread and cheese sprinkles . . I just hope I get refunded those $9 in a month . POV: should close the whole store it’s self if it’s that bad of a pay or just ppl don’t like their jobs for employees to comunícate with costumers before paying .

Mangers were rude. I asked the mangers if they could remake it and he took the food back that was open into the window n 3 mins later hands the bag with the same food wrapped in a new bag n when I go inside they yelling saying that’s what I ordered And then 1 have the nerve to brag that she been working there since she was 17, that’s embarrassing n I can tell why she is 47 and still a manger position bc her customer service in general sucks n her professionalism isn’t there so im surprised she even made it past an associate position. She’s embarrassing the Taco Bell name for sure. I didn’t yell back or be rude bc there is no point to get mad at low mindset people. God bless her

The last condensed review you made was this one about Taco Bell:

Review (Condensed):
This Taco Bell is by far the absolute worst. I placed my order at the kiosk and was ignored while others were greeted and assisted. Staff and management apologized to others but not to me. My to-go order was missing napkins, and the sauces I requested were limited to one per taco because of a policy that made no sense. Overall, the service was dismissive, unfair, and unprofessional.

Non-working drink machines no condiments in the sections. Rude staff, no acknowledgement that I was even there making an order. I’m never coming back to this location and I would suggest no one else do so as well.
